"Hello Mama, ghar kab aa rahe ho? Acha wo rehne do, mere ko na yeh jaan-na hai ke 'The Red Dragon Kitchen' better hai ya 'Daxis Bistro'?" Advait called Sidharth to ask.

"Hmm.. depends on what time you go and with whom." Sidharth replied.

"Dinner with friends Mama, duh!" Advait answered.

"Ek second, aap aise kyu bole? Mai apne friends ko party de raha hu Mama, what else could be the possible reason?" He challengingly asked his uncle to check if he forgot about his birthday next week or not.

"Hm, result aa gaya kya tera? Pass ho gaya sab me?" Sidharth asked.

"Mama! Result nahi aaya hai! Itna sochna nahi hai, don't tell me aap bhool gaye?!" Advait angrily replied this time.

"Oh, aisa kya hoga? Tu koi bet hara kya? Party de raha hai doston ko." Sidharth asked again, biting his cheeks on the side to tease his nephew.

"Mama yaar! Mujhe pata tha aap bhool jaoge, it's my birthday tomorrow! Kaise bhool gaye aap?" Advait almost shouted.

Sidharth began to laugh, how could he ever forget the birthday of this boy! From the day Advait was born, it had been nothing but non stop entertainment in his life. The lovely banter that he shares as an uncle to that beautifully adorable boy is something Sidharth feels like he has been blessed with.

"Right. Right. Mai har saal tera birthday bhool jata hu aur cake tera baap leke aata hai!" He replied.

"Mama, aise mood kyu kharab karte ho phir! I thought you also forgot!" Advait mentioned.

"What do you mean also? Aur kon bhool gaya?" Sidharth chuckled.

"Naira bhi bhool gayi lagta hai." Advait lowkey mentioned.

"Who's she?" Sidharth asked.

"Classmate ki friend hai, we're in this situationship for a while now." Advait replied.

"What is a situationship?" Sidharth asked, totally confused.

"Matlab we've been texting, ek do baar coffee pe gaye hain aur kabhi kabhi call pe bhi baat karte hain." Advait explained.

"So you guys like each other? Teri girlfriend banegi wo?" Sidharth inquired.

"Not exactly. Interested hain." Advait clarified.

"What?" Sidharth didn't understand one word.

"Mama, it is like hum is phase me commitment nahi de rahe hai apni. We'll see." Advait replied.

"Mujhe iska koi sense samajh toh nahi aa raha but whatever floats your boat." Sidharth shook his head.

"Aap main baat batao na, 'The Red Dragon Kitchen' better hai ya 'Daxis Bistro'?" Advait repeated his question.

"Red Dragon has great Chinese food. Haven't been to Daxis." Sidharth replied.

"Pehle hi bata dete, itna time lagaya aur aapko idea bhi nahi hai." Advait rolled his eyes at him.

"Toh iss saal humara kya? No family dinner?" Sidharth asked instead.

"Hai na Mama! Aapko invitation dena padega kya? Aa jana." Advait chuckled.

"Hey, don't forget Shehnaaz di! Unko aur unko Mom ko leke aana. Okay? Maine-" Advait suggested.

"Um, Adi - Shehnaaz is not gonna come. I guess." Sidharth interrupted.

"Kyu Mama?" Advait asked, confused a little because he had already invited her over for a family dinner.

"We're not together anymore." Sidharth knew his family would want to include Shehnaaz now that she was an essential part of his life but he didn't know how to tell them that they were not together anymore.
