Jungkook stood in front of the mirror with a frown on his face. Soon he broke into little giggles as he stared at his reflection longer. "Quite a situation it is, isn't it?" he spoke to himself. "Mother-in-law is imprisoned and her companion cannot approach the princess" he said.

"I wonder how you will stop your sister..." he asked and broke into laughter as he twirled around and stared at the reflection. His blonde hair was replaced by long black hair and his eyes were of different colors. He smirked at the reflection of the woman in the mirror with heart shaped lips and a pretty face. "Jisoo" he continued.

Within the next few seconds, he returned back to his original form. "This is quite a victory" He picked up the wine from a table nearby and gulped it down. Everything was under his control. Then why was he feeling a little off? Yeji was in prison and he had successfully interrupted her hearing at the royal court. He had already acted as Jisoo in front of Jennie, making sure she would never believe her unknown sister in future either. He had successfully got rid of his father and will soon be taking over the throne. He almost has the princess wrapped around his finger.

Now the only thing that mattered was to marry her and take over Nereida. Then, move to the bigger plan.

Initially, he planned to marry the princess for the sake of his plan then kill her.

But the memory of her looking and smiling at him during their arrival never left his mind. He had never felt this way before. Maybe it won't be so bad to have her around? He thought so. But he shook it off, knowing he'd have to let her go for her own good. He promised himself to let her live once he's over with his plan.

He found himself so pathetic at the moment. He was dedicated to his plan but now he didn't have the heart to leave her on her own. The only thing he could do is create a support system for her, a person she could still depend on when he'd let go of her hand. Taehyung was the person that came into his mind.

He had to be intricate with his actions. Making sure she finds herself comfortable around Taehyung but also making sure that she doesn't change her mind about her wedding with Jungkook either.

He gulped down another glass of wine to put aside all the thoughts about her. A month. It will all be over. Just a month more, Jungkook. Everything will be fine. He repeated to himself over and over again.

"Wooseok" Hyojoo called out. "Are you sure about this marriage?" She asked, fighting her tears that were ready to spill out any moment.

The king raised his eyebrow at her, seemingly displeased from her question. "Of course" he replied shortly.

"After all that has happened? you still want this to continue?" she asked again with a more aggressive tone. He nodded to her.

"I don't think this wedding should continue. Ever since their arrival, only unfortunate events have happened. Jennie has lost her closest friend then almost died in that storm. King Hyoseop was assassinated and turns out it was Yeji who did it. The one we thought was dead-"
