As the group began to disperse and head their separate ways, Kageyama turned to Y/N and said, "Hey, you should come over to my place tonight. We can hang out and maybe watch a movie or something."
Y/N's face lit up at the invitation. She eagerly agreed. "That sounds great! I'd love to," she said. A wide smile spread across her face.
Tsukishima, who had been quietly observing the interaction, felt a surge of jealousy. Anger rose within him. His brow furrowed. His grip on his bag tightened as he watched Kageyama and Y/N excitedly make plans.
Unable to contain his emotions, Tsukishima stepped forward and interrupted their conversation. "I don't mean to intrude. Are you two really going to spend the whole night together?" he asked. His voice was laced with a hint of bitterness and irritation.
Y/N was surprised by Tsukishima's sudden intervention. She turned to him and replied, "Oh, well, Kageyama invited me over to his place. Is there a problem, Tsukishima-kun?"
Tsukishima's eyes narrowed. He could feel his blood boiling. "Problem? No, not at all. I'm sure you two will have a _wonderful_ time," he spat. His words dripped with sarcasm.
Kageyama, sensing growing tension, decided to stoke the flames. He leaned towards Y/N. "Yeah, we're going to have a _great_ time. Probably stay up all night, you know. Just the two of us..." He gave Tsukishima a sly, challenging look.
Tsukishima's jaw clenched. His hands balled into tight fists. "Oh, I'm sure you will" he said, his voice barely above a growl. "Just make sure you don't _wear each other out_."
Y/N, feeling increasingly uncomfortable, tried to intervene. "Tsukishima, please. There's no need to be like this. We're just going to hang out, that's all."
Tsukishima turned his attention to Y/N. His expression softened slightly. "I'm sorry, Y/N. But I can't help but feel... _concerned_ about you spending the night with him." He shot a pointed glare at Kageyama.
Kageyama, sensing an opportunity to further tease, leaned in closer to Y/N. "Don't worry, Tsukishima. I'll take good care of her."
That was the final straw for Tsukishima. His face flushed with a mix of anger and embarrassment. He took a step towards Kageyama, hands clenched tightly at his sides.
"That's enough Kageyama. You're really starting to piss me off," Tsukishima growled. His voice was laced with barely contained rage. The tension was palpable. Y/N could feel her heart racing. She watched the two boys face off. Their egos and emotions clashed in a way that threatened to spiral out of control.
