Papa is ill!

*Achoo! Cough Cough*

"Looks like I won't be going to work today...", said Loid with a snuffy voice while sitting at the breakfast table.

Yor got up and placed her hand on Lois's head, "Uhh... I think you have a fever, Loid-san. How about I drop Anya off to the bus stop and stay with you today"

"No need for you to miss work... I'll be fine"
*cough* *cough*

Yor smirked, "Looks like I'll be staying at home today, Loid-san, why don't you go to bed and rest? I'll get some cold medicine as well."

Anya interrupted in between, "Papa! What happened to you? Did you eat too much ice-cream?"

Yor smiled, "Yes, Anya-San. Papa ate too much ice cream yesterday night, this is why I always tell you to never eat more than one scoop."

*Anya read Yor's mind*
"Mama! You are lying! Papa didn't eat ice cream yesterday."

Loid chuckled and then coughed, "Well... I actually did... too much of it, in fact. The whole tub."

"Okay Papa! Anya will not eat more than one scoop of ice cream at a time."

Yor patted Anya on the head, "Anya-san, we're getting late for school. Come on, let Papa rest."

"I'm home!", Yor chimed in as she opened the door to the bedroom.

Loid was sleeping and suddenly woke up.

"Ohh Loid-san, I am so sorry. I didn't know you were sleeping. My bad... you always read when you're sick."

Loid snorted and replied in his snuffy tone, "No problem, Yor. Did you get the medicine"

"Yes. Let me get a glass of water for you.", she replied.

She brought water and gave him the medicine. "You know... you should be more careful... or did you actually eat that much ice cream last night?"

"I kind of did....", he replied.

Yor was angry, "Never buying ice cream during grocery shopping ever again."

Loid chuckled, "Since when do you go grocery shopping?"

She replied, "Since the last week... especially since I'm practising for...."

He replied, "For....?"

"Nothing.", she replied.

Loid was annoyed, "Well, you should get a stool... how long are you going to stand here?"

Yor asked, "Why don't I sit next to you on the bed?"

"Because you don't get sick... duh", he said.

She smiled, "I won't get sick from you, don't worry. I have a very strong immune system."

Loid chuckled, "Oh really? Welp, I'm not taking any risks with you, so go get the stool."

Yor replied, "Fine... but before I do that...."

She leapt across and hugged him, "We haven't hugged since morning.... And I was missing it."
