On the day of the Cultural Festival, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. A diverse crowd gathered, including families, students, and local residents, all eager to soak in the festive spirit. The event was filled with vibrant food stalls, various shops, and especially exciting performances. Among all the acts, you were particularly eager to see Mitsuya's band, as all your friends were part of it, and you had caught a glimpse of their rehearsal just the day before.

Your class is hosting a maid-themed café, a concept you weren't particularly invested in at first. However, when one of the girls fell ill and couldn't make it, the only suitable replacement was you. As the vice president of the student council, you felt compelled to step in—not to mention, it was your class organizing the event. Plus, you were determined to attract the most visitors; after all, the winning group would receive a trophy, and you're definitely competitive by nature.

You decided not to mention this to Chifuyu, feeling embarrassed about him seeing you in such a ridiculous dress. When you needed to head to your class for the emergency, you told him you had to take care of some student council duties and promised you'd find him later. He didn't say much, treating it as just another task, so there was no reason for him to be suspicious.

As you left Chifuyu alone, he walked quietly through the school yard, taking in the various stalls. Suddenly, he spotted Draken and Inupi in the distance. He was surprised to see familiar faces at the festival, especially since they owned a bike shop and didn't attend this school. It had been a long time since he had seen them, making the unexpected encounter all the more enjoyable.

"Draken! Inupi!" Chifuyu called out as he rushed over to the two familiar figures. Upon hearing his voice, they both turned and waved enthusiastically, their faces lighting up with recognition. It felt like an unexpected Toman reunion, reminiscent of the good old days when they would all hang out together.

Chifuyu couldn't help but smile, feeling a sense of warmth and nostalgia wash over him. He looked around, realizing he didn't have anyone else to keep him company at the festival; Hakkai, Mitsuya, and the twin devils were busy at the student hall, preparing for their performance. With his friends occupied, the surprise encounter with Draken and Inupi felt like a perfect opportunity to reconnect and enjoy the festival together.

"What are you guys doing here?" Chifuyu asked, a mix of curiosity and excitement in his voice.

Draken grinned and explained, "Mitsuya asked us to come watch him perform, so we decided to close the bike shop for the day."

Inupi nodded in agreement, adding, "Yeah, we wouldn't miss it. Draken wanted to show his support for Mitsuya."

Chifuyu felt a rush of camaraderie, glad to know that their mutual friend had such loyal supporters. It made the festival even more special, knowing that old friends were gathering to cheer for one another.

As they continued to chat, Chifuyu suddenly overheard someone passing by say, "I heard Y/N needs to replace a girl from her class!"

His head whipped around in surprise at the mention of your name. The news caught him off guard, and his mind raced with questions about what was happening. The festive atmosphere faded into the background as he focused intently on the conversation, eager to learn more.

Then, another male student chimed in, "Huh, what's the big deal? She's just working."

But the first student nearly shouted in response, "Don't you get it? Her class is running a maid-themed café! She's replacing a waitress, so she has to wear the dress!"

Chifuyu's eyes widened in realization. The idea of you in a maid dress was both surprising and amusing, and he couldn't help but feel a mix of concern and curiosity about how you were handling it. Chifuyu couldn't help but shake at the thought of you in such a cute, innocent outfit. So, this was what you meant by "student council stuff." A grin crept onto his face despite himself.
