I arrive a few minutes after Freen as I slowly make my way to the principal's office.
This whole situation just annoys me to the point that I want to throw myself off a bridge.
I'm not kidding.
I literally mean it.
Freen started this whole shit, which obviously made me furious to the point it made me act out like that. And I just know my parents will be called which I also know for a fact I'm in deep shit with my father.
Well.... it's basically everyday my father is mad at me for no apparent reason but I just know he'll probably do some regretful things when we get home.
I knock a few times on the principal's office door.
"Enter."
A voice is heard from inside. I take a deep breath before slowly opening it.
And of course to my surprise, there stands the whole lot of them.
Freen, Freen's parents....and yeah...my parents.
Great.
They all immediately look up. I can immediately see the anger flaring up in my father's eyes and disappointment in my mother's. I roll my eyes, clearly unbothered as I close the door behind.
As I immediately do so, Freen's father rushes towards me and yanks me by the collar of my shirt, pulling me close to his face. His eyes full of pure hatred and he grits his teeth slow with intimidation.
"How dare you! How dare you put your hands on my daughter!" He screams, his wife rushing forward to try and calm him down.
What an idiot.
And honestly I don't care. I ain't intimidated by this man. Why should I be? He really ain't that scary looking. Just a man who thinks he's so big and tuff. Just like my father I suppose.
My face stays cold and unreadable as we keep eye contact, like a silent battle to see who'll win. However my father gets in the way as he shoves Mr Chankimha off me with so much force.
"Now, now let's calm down and talk like adults." The principal's voice cuts through the room sharply like a blade making us all turn to him.
"You should suspend Rebecca! She touched my daughter first! No... expel her actually!" Mr Chankimha's voice is heard in desperation making my father shake his head.
"No! You should suspend Freen! She taunted my daughter first!" He shouts back at the principal.
I sigh in annoyance as both men continue arguing and demanding for punishments. However as they do so, I turn to take a sneaky glance at Freen, to see she's already staring right back at me.
Her face poker but her eyes speak to me. Like she's ashamed. Or maybe annoyed? Guilty? Embarrassed?
Whatever it is, it's not hatred for once. I keep eye contact with her, like our minds are talking silently to one another. I don't know what she's exactly feeling at this moment, but it kind of feels nice to see no hatred in those boba eyes of hers.
Then a hand grips my shoulder making me snap out of it and turn to the side to see my father, glaring at me as his nails dig into my skin. I tense up slightly. Dang, that hurts. "I've made my decision." The principal blurts making everyone look in his direction once more. He clears his throat slightly, intertwining his fingers together and keeps them planted on his desk.
