Finally after a long day of school, me, Nam and Noey all head out the entrance. "So we'll see you tomorrow Freen?" Nam asks while focusing on her phone. I nod. "Yeah I'll see you both tomorrow. I should get back now. I know parents will probably want to know how today went." I say with a chuckle and Noey joins in.
"Hey, you gonna tell them about a certain someone you met today?" I sigh at her question. I should tell them about Rebecca. It's better than lying. I look at her and shrug. "I'll see." Noey gives me a nod in return.
We all then say our goodbyes. Noey and Nam walking off together and I wait outside for my driver to come. Finally I can go home. I'm quite proud of myself actually for making Rebecca's blood boil. She deserves it. I smile to myself as I leave the school. The black SUV parks in front of me a few minutes later. My driver leaves the driver's seat and opens the passenger door for me to get in. My smile widens as I get in. He closes the door and gets into the drivers seat, starting the engine and drives off immediately.
...
Once I make it back to my mansion I get out the car and I head over to the front door. The maid opens it for me with a sweet smile planted on her lips. "Welcome back Freen." She greets. I smile back at her and I walk inside. I give her my bag and coat and she takes it away. I head into the living room to see my father on the couch with my mom next to him. Both of them are relaxing and watching the tv with tea on the coffee table.
"Hey mom, hey dad." I say as I slump onto the couch next to them. My parents both turn and gives me a sweet smile. "Welcome back beautiful. How was your first day of school?" My mother asks pausing the show they were watching before I came in. I shrug. "Actually not bad. I already made two friends." My dad chuckles patting my head. "Of course you did sweetheart. Who wouldn't want to be your friend?" My mother laughs along with him.
My mom unpauses the show and they start watching it again, taking a few sips of their tea. The maid comes in, putting some Thai deserts onto the coffee table before leaving. I sit there contemplating, whether to tell them that the daughter of the Armstrongs is attending the school as well. But I mean they could potentially find out later on and I don't want them to get angry at me for not telling them. I bite my lip. But what will their reaction be if I say it now? I know I said to Noey that I might, but I think I just should.
I sigh deeply before clearing my throat but before I can even get a word out my mouth, my dad interrupts. "So anything else exciting happen?" I gulp at his question. I put my hands on my lap and I sit up straight. "About that..." I start. I guess I'm gonna say then. "Who thought Rebecca Armstrong would be attending there as well?" I chuckle nervously and they pause. They both laugh with me before something clicks inside them. Their laughter fades in an instant. My dad looks at me. "What did you just say?" He replies. His voice surprised with a mix of anger.
I gulp again seeing his serious expression. "Uhhhh.." I start. "Did you just say that idiotic family's daughter is attending there?!" He stands up towering over me. Shit. "Yeah..she...she is." I sigh once more and he runs his fingers through his black hair. "How dare that daughter of theirs attend my daughter's school!" He mutters to himself.
"Dad. It's not that big of a deal. Don't worry." I try to reassure before he does something he regrets. Believe me. Whenever he's angry you don't wanna mess with him. "It IS a big deal Freen! I don't want her to talk to you. She's just like her parents. All of them are weirdos." He snaps back making me shut up immediately.
