Cerberus

Diana then runs over to Becca whilst Hippolyta is confused

Becca "It's some 3 headed massive dog"

Diana "No...it can't be"

Diana then runs around the building and sees a massive 3 headed dog 

Diana "Cerberus!"

Diana then runs to the dog but the tail hits Diana towards a building. Hippolyta catches up but she sees no dog. She sees Diana punching the air and getting thrown without force. Hippolyta runs to Diana and holds her

Diana "Mother what in Gaia's name are you doing!"

Hippolyta "Diana trust me, there is no monster!"

Diana "Do you not see Cerberus!? Hades' hound?"

Diana then sees Cerberus run towards a group of people. She pushes Hippolyta away and lassos him and tries holding him back

Diana "Cerberus. Listen to me. I know you can hear me"

Cerberus then uses one of its heads to bite the lasso and swing Diana across the street. He then runs to her and pounces on her. Diana tries to avoid the mouths but she is bit on the shoulder

Becca "Diana no!"

Becca then grabs a pistol of a fallen police officer but Hippolyta disarms her

Becca "Hippolyta your daughter is in danger look!"

All Hippolyta sees is her daughter on the ground pushing up air and clenching her arm at times. Hippolyta then grabs Becca's head and points it at Diana

Hippolyta "Listen to me carefully Becca, there is no monster. This is an illusion, a popular one done by an old enemy of mine. I am immune to it but the surrounding people including my daughter are not. Listen to my voice"

Becca then feels uneasy

Hippolyta "Look through the illusion. Listen to my voice. Only my voice"

Becca then sees the vision appear and disappear

Becca "The dog is fading and reappearing?"

Hippolyta "Yes you see, it is not real. Now I cannot use my voice alone to show you the true vision but you recognize there is no monster"

Becca "But it feels so real?"

Hippolyta "Yes but you have to trust me. It is not. If it tries to pounce you, you resist. You do not move. You do not feel what it wants you to feel. The people lying unconscious or look dead are very much alive and well, but they think they are not. Do not fall victim to this. We need to avoid Diana doing unnecessary damage to the surroundings"

Becca "Ok let's go to her"

The two women run to Diana as she fights the imaginary beast. Hippolyta tackles her and restrains her

Diana "What is your problem mother!" 

Diana tries to break free but Hippolyta holds on tightly. Diana then elbows her but Hippolyta grabs her again last second. Becca then joins in to restrain her

Diana "Becca you too? What has gotten into you?"

Hippolyta pulls Diana back and Becca stands in front of her, Diana sees Cerberus bite through Becca and a gush of blood splatters on the floor

Diana "Becca!!!!"

Diana then leaps but Hippolyta grabs her Lasso at the last second. Diana goes to punch Cerberus but instead in reality a scared Becca look up at her. Becca cowers but Diana is pulled back last minute

Diana "Mother!"

Hippolyta then wraps the lasso around Diana and points her to Cerberus

Hippolyta "This is an illusion by Circe!"

Diana "Circe is banished! You told me that! And now the beast has injured my love! Let me go! Why are you doing this!"

Hippolyta "I cannot explain it but this is a Circe illusion like I described to you before. You are falling victim to it, I am not. Remember, I am immune. Look closely Becca is alive and coming this way"

Diana "All I see is Becca crawling away, the beast is going to her! Mother! She is going to die!"

Hippolyta restrains her tightly "Listen to my voice. There is no demon. It is an illusion! Trust your mother, trust yourself."

Diana then closes her eyes and opens them. She sees Becca ripped to shreds and dead

Diana "Becca!!! Nooo! Mother how can you let this happen!"

Becca "I am here Diana"

Hippolyta "Fight it Diana, fight it!"

Diana then closes and reopens her eyes again and sees the demon gone and Becca in front of her

Diana "Becca I see you. The demon...its gone?"

Hippolyta "You now see the truth"

Diana is then let go and hugs Becca. The people around are confused

People "The large dog is gone?" "Oh I am not actually dead"

Diana then looks at her arm and sees no bite wound

Hippolyta "The illusion plays tricks on your pain receptors"

Diana then rubs her arm but sees damage around the area. A helicopter then flies away

People "So it was a trick?" "There was no dog?" "Did Wonder Woman level the street?"

Diana then puts her hand on her head as she sees the destruction. She then aids the fire trucks and ambulances who come out. Becca then returns the gun to the police officer

Police "Geez, I thought that dog ripped through my intestines. It felt so real, so painful. Well... thanks for returning the pistol and for checking up on me. Damn, this illusion did a number on the street. But tell Wonder Woman it is not her fault!"

Becca nods as she goes to Hippolyta. In a dark street, a woman faints. She is taken away
