Taehyung groggily opened his eyes, his mind slowly coming awake. He was still feeling a little fuzzy and disoriented from the previous night's activities, but at the sound of his phone ringing, he quickly snapped to attention.
As the last remnants of sleep and exhaustion faded away, Taehyung's mind began to clear. The memories of the previous night came flooding back to him, and he felt a wave of shock and disbelief come over him.
"Oh god," he whispered to himself, his voice shaky and disbelieving.
He looked over to the bed where Jungkook was still sleeping, his face peaceful and content. Taehyung couldn't believe what had happened. He felt like he had been in a dream, but now reality was crashing down around him.
Taehyung sat down on the edge of the bed, his mind racing with thoughts and emotions. He felt a wave of shame and guilt wash over him, wondering what Jungkook would say when he wake up. But at the same time, he couldn't deny the way his body ached and tinged with pleasure, a reminder of the intense night they had shared together.
Taehyung quickly glanced over at Jungkook one more time, making sure the man was still asleep. When he was satisfied that he wouldn't wake up, he picked up his phone and answered the call.
"Jimin?" he whispered into the receiver, his voice hushed and urgent. "Yeah, I'll be right down."
Taehyung tried to move silently so as not to wake Jungkook, but he was still a little clumsy in his haste. He quickly grabbed his keys and wallet, worebhis clothes then hurried out the door and down the stairs to meet Jimin once he feels presentable enough. Leaving a sleeping jungkook behind.
As Taehyung sat on the bench just infront of the bar waiting for Jimin, a car finally pulled up, the sound of the engine breaking the silence of the early morning. Taehyung got up slowly, his body aching, and walked towards the car. As he got closer, he saw Jimin rolling down the passenger window, his concerned expression visible in the dim light.
"Hey," Jimin said, his voice laced with worry. "Are you okay? I've been trying to call you all night."
Taehyung shrugged, his eyes averted. "I'm fine," he muttered, opening the car door and getting in.
Jimin studied him, his eyes narrowing in concern. "You don't look fine," he said, his tone gentle. The quiet continued for a few more minutes before Jimin finally broke the silence. "Hey," he said, his voice gentle. "Can I ask you something?"
Taehyung opened one eye to look at him, his expression indifferent. "What is it?" he mumbled.
Jimin took a deep breath, trying to choose his words carefully. "What happened at the bar?" he asked, his tone cautious.
Taehyung took a deep breath, rubbing his temples as if trying to gather his thoughts. "Well, let's just say I made some stupid decisions last night and now I'm paying the price," he said, his voice weary.
Jimin glanced over at him, concern etched on his face. "What kind of decisions?" he asked carefully.
Taehyung let out a bitter scoff, his eyes still closed. "The kind that involve alcohol and poor judgment," he muttered. "Specifically, drinking too much at a bar and hooking up with a complete stranger."
Jimin's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "You... hooked up with someone at the bar?" he asked, his voice laced with disbelief.
Taehyung opened his eyes, staring at the passing streetlights. "Yeah, I did," he said bitterly. "And it was a huge mistake."
Jimin's expression softened. "I don't mean to judge you, but... what were you thinking?" he asked, his tone gentle.
Taehyung sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I wasn't thinking," he said, his voice laced with regret. "I was just... trying to drown out the pain, you know? Trying to forget about everything that's going on in my life for just one night."
