Third person pov-
The next day, Jungkook arrives at his office building, briefcase in hand and a determined expression on his face. As he pushes open the doors and strides through the familiar corridors, he is greeted by the hustle and bustle of his employees starting their day.
Jungkook heads towards his spacious office, situated on the highest floor of the building, which offers a stunning view of the city below. He enters his office, nods at his assistant, Eunwoo who is ready with the day's schedule, and settles into the plush leather chair behind his desk.
Eunwoo knocked on his door in a bit. He came inside with jungkook's coffee
Jungkook looks up from his desk as Eunwoo, enters the office with a steaming cup of coffee."Thanks, Eunwoo," he says, gesturing for the other man to take a seat. "You know how much I need this in the morning."
Eunwoo sets the coffee down on the desk and takes a seat across from Jungkook, a small smile on his face. "I know," he replied. "You're even grumpier without your coffee."
Jungkook chuckles at Eunwoo's remark, taking a moment to savor the hot drink before delving into business. "So, what's on the schedule for today?" he asks, gesturing for Eunwoo to retrieve his planner.
Eunwoo opens the planner to the day's agenda, skimming through the pages with a practiced eye. "You've got to attend an online meeting with the Japan branch at noon," he says, "and a meeting with the marketing team at two. Oh, and there's an unexpected call from Areum's assistant to schedule for lunch."
Jungkook groans inwardly at the mention of Areum's name.
"Thanks for letting me know," he says, leaning back in his chair. "Is there any way I can get out of that meeting, or is she pressing for it?"
Eunwoo shakes his head sympathetically. "I'm afraid she was pretty insistent on speaking with you today," he replies. "She said it's important and needs to be discussed in person, so you won't be able to get out of it."
"I don't think it's important for me to meet to her personally. Ask her to take a meeting appointment of mine if she wants to talk to me and stop arranging lunch or dinner meetings."
Eunwoo nods, making a note of the instructions. "I'll relay that message to her," he says. "But I have a feeling she won't take it well. She's been pushing for more personal interactions lately, and it hasn't been easy to deflect her advances."
Jungkook sighs, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "I know," he says. "But I can't keep giving in to her every demand. We have a business to run, and I don't have time for her personal agendas. I don't care if she knows mom or not."
Eunwoo nods in agreement. "I understand," he says. "I'll make sure to keep your boundaries in mind when dealing with her from now on. And let me know if there's anything else I can do to help."
"what about the information I asked you to gather? And what was that you talking about yesterday?"
Eunwoo pauses, remembering the task Jungkook had given him previously. "Ah, right," he says. He continued, "There's no information about him from four years ago, family background, schooling or anything. Nothing. I only got what he's been doing in these four years."
"But how's it possible?"
"I wonder that too."
"Anyways email me the details you got of these recent four years."
"I've been working on that. The progress is coming along well, but there's still a bit more to gather. I should have a full report ready for you by the end of the day."
