It had been three days since that phone call. We were sitting in the living room when I heard a knock at the door.

Could this be it? My chance at freedom.

Should I scream for help or try to privately get their attention? Private would be best; I don't want him to hurt them.

"Adam, come in." He says it with a smile. He closes the door behind them.

"'Meet Hannah," he says, gesturing to me.

I lightly smiled back at him.

"Hello," I say not to be friendly, but I do not mean it either.

Adam joins us on the couch. The men were exchanging small talk.

I put on an act of light, shivering and rubbing my arms and legs as we watched TV.

"Are you cold, baby?" Colton asks me, breaking his eyes from the TV.

"Yes, do you mind getting me the throw blanket on the bed? I like that one; it's soft." I said, looking at him.

"Sure, baby, I'll be right back." He says to get up and walk up the stairs.

I knew I had to act quickly.

"Do not act alarmed; I've been kidnapped; you need to make an excuse to leave and call the cops," I say, whispering.

I did expect a face of shock or something. Instead, he laughed. A gut-turning laugh.

"Oh Hannah, you don't think I know my brother kidnapped you. I was one of the ones who helped him do it." He says he is smirking evil.

I stumble back, frightened and uncomfortable.

Just then Colton comes down, holding the blanket, and goes for me.

Adam looks at Colton.

"You will never believe what your little Hannah just told me." He says it with amusement still in his tone.

My heart quickens at the thought of exposure for trying to escape.

"She just told me you kidnapped her. I need to ring the police and let them know." He says he is laughing again.

Making me angry. He thinks this is fucking funny!!

It's not.

"Oh, really, huh? Is that true, Hannah?" He asks me.

I sit for a moment, wondering if I should just lie and save my skin.

"I'd answer quickly; he does have cameras he can watch and find out if you are lying." He says this as I sit there.

"Yes." I stutter out of fear.

"Well, Adam, why don't you stay here and enjoy the TV? I'm going to have a little chat with my little Hannah here. We will be done shortly; it might be a while. Make yourself at home." He says this to Adam.

Colton makes a move to grab me.

I move under his arms just in time not to be grabbed when my hair is pulled roughly. My scalp was burning in response. I try to keep up with him to ease the pull he has on my scalp. Through my teary eyes, I see Adam smirking at me. As if proud of the situation he caused.

I make stumbling walks up the stairs and practically fall a couple of times.

He opened the door and pushed me in, making me fall on my knees as he slammed the door shut. The force is so strong it rattles the walls.

I was utterly terrified of him. His face was angry, and it happened so fast that if you blink, you'll miss it.

I stumble backward and look behind me to see the bathroom. I run quickly to it, my body moving as fast as it ever has. Tears were running down my face as I opened the door. I tried to close it as his body pushed against it, stopping me from doing so.

"Nooo!! Stop!!" I screamed out in fear as I sobbed.

I threw my body weight into the door and locked it. There weren't any windows. I leaned against the door in hopes that if he tried to break it down, he would have more difficulty.
