So Much for the Closure

"Uncle said she was here." Tejo said as soon as I picked her call well now my night is going to be as colourful as it can get.

"Hello to you too baby." I said sweetly.

"Don't try to be cute with me right now." She said angrily.

"You think I am cute? Girls think I am hot and handsome." I teased.

"Are you looking for trouble when we are three days away from getting married." She blackmailed slyly.

"No no baby I am not trying anything." I tried to ease the situation.

"Then why was she here?" She asked, I could hear anger.

"She wanted to see if I had really moved on." I tried to explain.

"Why does she care about you so much that she had to come and see you and why did you talk to her?" She angrily went on and I couldn't blame her my past should have remained in the past but her coming here increased Teju's anxiety.

"Sweetie it's not like that at all I know you are angry but listen." I said but she cut the call.

So much for the closure now I have to see her and make her understand the situation.

"Dad I am gonna go see Teju and be home by one hour." I informed as I went out to my car.

That brat is just a headache and chaos in my life.What does she think I have to always run to her and convince her. I stopped my running mind as I realised I am exactly doing that. I smiled. I hate that she is angry at me and I can understand she has the whole right to be mad at me but I know she will understand my point.

I reached her house and saw her room from the balcony I climbed up from the pipe to her balcony I knocked on the window hoping she was awake.

The window was open my lucky day I climbed in Teju was by the mirror. She probably didn't hear the knock.

Her night routine was going on.
"You are brat, how peacefully you are doing your work while you take away my peace and leave me hanging." I said as I watched her. She got startled and turned towards me.

"Sunnnny. You are finally here. I was waiting for you." She happily said as she got up and came running to me.

"What?" I said confusedly at her as she hugged me tightly.

"I missed you." She said she kissed my cheek.

"You are not mad at me?" I asked.

"Of course not. I am glad you both met and got the closure I really hoped there comes a time in your life where you both cross paths and realise you both are better off without each other and that's exactly what happened. Now she knows you have moved on." She explained. I didn't even know if it's possible to love a little more than I did before.

I pulled her closer and kissed her for understanding me better than myself.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." She replied.

"Then why did you cut the call?" I asked.

"I found it extremely stupid that we have to sleep three days without one another and I couldn't stay but you can come here. So I did what I could do in the harsh situation. " She said dramatically.

"You could have told me that I was worried that you were mad at me. "I said.

"Well baby where is the fun in that? And more importantly you were okay for me to go back home so I wanted to teach you a lesson for that. " She said cheekily.

I laughed as I held her closer to me I kissed all over her face.

"I love you and I am sorry for being okay that you were going home for three days because I missed you too." I said.

"Good boy." She said as she ruffled my hair softly.

"Yeah and I will make sure that I sneak in here for the next two nights as well I won't let you sleep alone. I promise." I told her as I caressed her cheeks, and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"That's exactly what I want." She said

"That's exactly what you will get." I said .
