Chapter 2

.........It started near a well...

"Again!" An order rang through the hall, causing everyone who was facing the caller to flinch and some even gulp, looking at one another to see who was brave enough (Stupid enough) to go against the man standing in the middle of the dojo; their Shifu surveyed everyone in the hall with a harsh look, assessing them with his fleeting glance, a frown dominating his face as he found them lacking.

Some of the students who finally gathered enough courage, let out shouts of rage as they rushed at their teacher, some with their fists raised and others preparing to use their feet; all of them were desperate to land a hit, to win... to do something... they were desperate not to lose, the reason why their bodies continued to move, even when every cell inside was screaming at them to stop and give up; three long hours since they had started the fight with their Master, every student in the martial arts advance classes, against their Master.

A fight that they continued to lose, no matter how much they tried to win... not that they believed they would even get closer to winning, after all, who could go against the killing machine in front of them and hope they would survive to see the next day? The day their Master lost a fight, would be the day that hell would break through the earth and the heavenly realm would weep in despair.

Their Master moved to avoid their hits, his movement was that of a seasoned dancer, of water flowing through the stream, gentle but strong in his movement; unwavering and unyielding as he moved through the bodies and dished out his attacks. Again, it didn't take a long time for every student in the dojo to find themselves lying on the ground, whining in pain as their bodies screamed and their hearts felt heavy as they suffered another defeat.

"Training is over..." Their Shifu said with a sigh after a while, still frowning (No doubt unsatisfied by the results) as he ran his hand through his short hair, his words caused many to groan in happiness, while some hung their heads down in shame, for not being able to land one hit and get praised by their Shifu.

Everyone didn't take long to disperse, some going to take showers, while others went to chat with their friends who waited for them and rehydrate; everyone's spirit was high even after they lost, feeling proud at the fact that they were able to last this long when facing the owner of the dojo, who was stretched his body in his post-battle routine.
