Ishitha's POV
As every day, I had completed my work and was returning home.
The crisp night air felt good, unlike the day's heat.
And I turned down a quiet alley, eager to reach home.
All of a sudden, a few shadowy figures loomed from the darkness, blocking my path.
Panic surged through me as I struggled, but their faces remained hidden in the dim light.
Before I could react, their rough hands grabbed me, muffling my startled cry.
"Let me go!" I pleaded, my voice trembling with fear.
"Please"
Still Ignoring my cries, they dragged me towards a van that was parked nearby.
My heart started to pound heavily as they bound my hands and blindfolded me, leaving me all terrified.
The van's engine roared to life, speeding away into the night.
Minutes stretched into what felt like an eternity and I tried to calm my racing mind, but my thoughts were a chaotic swirl of fear and confusion.
Where were they taking me?
What did they want?
And why did they kidnap me?
The van finally came to a stop, and I was roughly pulled out, stumbling into what felt like a basement.
The air was damp and musty, with only a sliver of light filtering in through a small window near the ceiling.
I was shoved into a chair, the blindfold removed but my hands still bound.
As my eyes adjusted to the dim light, I saw three men standing before me, their faces hidden in the shadows.
One of them spoke, his voice rough and menacing.
"Well, well, who do we have here?" he sneered, his gaze roaming all over me with a mix of curiosity and malice.
"A pretty little bird caught in our net."
I swallowed hard, my throat drying with fear.
"Please," I managed to say, my voice barely above a whisper,
"let me go. I haven't done anything to you."
The man chuckled darkly.
"Oh, we know that," he said, his tone mocking.
"But we have some questions for you, lady.
Questions you better answer truthfully if you want to leave here alive."
My heart sank at his words, but I forced myself to remain composed.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I replied, my voice steady despite the turmoil inside.
"Please, let me go."
The man exchanged a glance with his companions before one of them stepped forward, holding up a photo.
My blood ran cold as I recognized the image of myself and Aadarsh at the gala, captured in an intimate position.
My mind raced with questions.
My first thought was if these men were rivals of Aadarsh.
What do they want?
How did they get that photo?
