Ishitha's POV
As the blindfold was removed, a soft gasp escaped my lips.
I stood still, momentarily stunned, my heart racing to keep up with the flood of emotions that overwhelmed me.
The scene before me was straight out of a dream.
The full moon hung low in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the beach.
Waves lapped gently at the shore, their rhythmic sound a soothing lullaby.
The entire beach had been transformed into a magical dreamscape.
Candlelight and lanterns flickered softly, their light dancing over countless flowers scattered along the sand, creating a mesmerizing play of shadows and light.
The sight was so beautiful that it stole my breath away.
Orchids-my favorites-were everywhere, their delicate petals shimmering in the moonlight.
A lump formed in my throat as I took in the sheer elegance of it all.
How did he know?
How did he know this was exactly what I would love?
The beach was deserted as if it had been reserved just for the two of us.
The empty shoreline didn't surprise me, but the thought of him going to such lengths for me made my heart flutter uncontrollably.
For a brief moment, it felt like a dream-like I had stepped into a fairytale.
I felt like a princess, surrounded by everything I adored.
And Aadarsh? He felt like the prince who came to banish every worry and burden.
Before I could fully process what was happening,
Aadarsh pulled me close.
His arms encircled my waist with a familiarity that left me breathless.
Then, without warning, he lifted me into the air, holding me as though I weighed nothing.
For a second, I didn't understand anything, and all I could focus on was the warmth of his embrace, the feel of his heartbeat, and the intensity of his gaze locked with mine.
He carried me across the sand, his footsteps soft against the shore, toward a beautifully set table a little distance away.
All the while my mind raced with questions.
Why this sudden shift in his behavior?
Why this dinner?
Why my favorites?
And mainly, why had he carried me when I was perfectly capable of walking?
It wasn't until he gently set me down that I realized why.
My heels.
They would have sunk into the sand, making it impossible for me to walk without stumbling.
Of course
He'd noticed
He knew without me saying a word.
Without even glancing at my feet, He'd carried me so effortlessly as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
How could something so simple feel like the sweetest kind of magic?
