Oc Headcanons (Mateo)

So here I am again with another round of Oc Headcanons, this time with one of my other main ocs: Mateo. Here are a few headcanons that I came up with for him.

- His older brother, Fernando is his role model

- Had hydrophobia since he was a kid

- Is popular at his school but doesn't like the attention

- Is comfortable going to aquariums since he's still as far from water as possible

- Is working to earn a major in psychology with a minor in English for when he goes to college

- favorite school subjects: English, History, Social Studies & Music

- Doesn't believe that anyone truly loves him (except when he met Silas of course)

- His family's in the mafia

- Got his hydrophobia for when he was almost drowned by his father and when his mother disappeared when they were out at sea

- He secretly loathes himself for the family he comes from and for how people think of him as popular, when all he feels is a fraud

- Usually spends time in the library to be alone

- Likes drinking lattes

- Knows how to speak Spanish, French, Russian, German, Polish, Japanese, Korean and a small bit of Taiwanese

- Never understood love since he had never been in a genuine relationship before (Until he met Silas of course)

- Silas is terrible with flirting with Mateo, but Mateo finds it adorable anyway

- Sometimes has trust issues

- Likes listening to classical music at the library, but jams to rock or Korean Pop when he's alone

- Is a dog person

- Gets mistaken for a gray wolf since he sometimes looks and acts like one

- Is the envy of every guy in his school due to his smarts and appearance

- Is one of the smartest kids at his school

- Sometimes stats after school to help the teachers

- Works part time as a librarian

- Almost never seen without a book in his hand

- Something I thought of when I make stories of him: Have him start out as a silent protagonist or have him be an Anti Villain/ Anti Hero

- Likes watching Hazbin Hotel with Charlie and Husk being his two favorite characters

- Spends most of his dates with Silas indoors since they're both introverts

- Knows how to play guitar and the piano

- Is find of psychological horror shows, books, movies or games

- Finds most slasher films to be confusing

- Likes watching Final Destination

- Had never kissed a single person before and Silas became his first kiss

- Favorite colors are Blue, Black, Teal, Grey, White and Sapphire Blue

- Takes interest in Geology (The study of rocks and minerals)

- Usually speaks out in Spanish when he's angry since he's from Puerto Rico

- His brother is an amazing cook

- Didn't find out he was bisexual until he was in his tween years

- Likes eating Chinese, Puerto Rican or Vietnamese food

- Likes Murder mysteries as well

- Secretly likes karaoke

- Sometimes reads books for little or disabled kids

- Is thought of as a elder brother figure or father figure to most people

- Can sometimes be a bit overprotective

- Doesn't specifically have a type when it comes to dating as he's fine with whomever (Except when it's Vincent or Cindy since he hates them)
