Small Council Chambers, the Red Keep: Mid 112 AC

"I have suggestions to improve the city." Aelinor said. She had been given a spot on the council. "I was hosting in the gardens with the smallfolk and the nobles, and the smallfolk have many complaints about the city."

"What do you suggest, Princess?" Lyonel asked.

"First up is the disbandment of the child fighting rings." Aelinor said. "Absolutely. Daemon, that is your current task." Viserys said and Daemon nodded. "Next up, the orphanages have reported their younger children being taken to the whorehouses for patrons interested in children. I suggest we post Gold cloaks to protect the orphanages and to the whores in the city. And maybe smaller crimes can be sentenced with community service, such as keeping the streets clean and picking up garbage, or assigned to work in the sewers to keep the water clean."

"And maybe something to get ride of the smell in King's Landing." Corlys suggested. "All of your ideas, Princess, are noted." Gerardys said.

"Maybe we can include learning and healing centers for the citizens, and let prisoners learn trades so they have a trade to do instead of resorting to crime." Mysaria, the new Mistress of Whispers, suggested.

"All of those are wonderful ideas." Viserys nodded. "Let's get on with them, shall we?"

Small Brook Orphanage, King's Landing: Mid 112 AC

"Queen Aemma, Princess Aelinor, Princess Rhaenyra, Princess Daena!" Irina, the head of the orphanage, said when Aemma, the three princesses, and their retinue arrived. "We didn't expect you so soon."

"We desired to visit." Aemma said. "Have the improvements worked?" Aelinor asked.

"They have, Princess. Life has gotten better." Irina said. "Come, the children are this way."

Aelinor smiled as the children quickly swarmed them. She knelt down with a group of children, gently and patiently teaching them their letters and how to read. Two of her ladies, Celia and Joanna, ran their own groups along with Aemma and Rhaenyra.

Aelinor, after her group was done and toys and books began to be distributed, met up with Irina. "Is there anything else, Irina, that the crown should know of?"

"Not yet." Irina said. "The healing and learning centers are incredibly popular, along with the trade centers. The children fighting rings have been shut down, so my charges don't have to worry now. Pregnant woman are also more willing to go the healing centers these days, there's barely been anyone dying in childbirth. You're project to restore the drains, sewers, glazed pipes, tunnels, and wells have had many unemployed men signing up. And it's just wonderful that the orphanges and whorehouses have protection. The child hurters have gotten their fate."

"That's good to know." Aelinor said. "Remember, the crown is willing to listen and improve the city."

The Dragonpit, King's Landing: Mid 112 AC

"Ready to fly, Daena?" Aelinor cooed, holding her baby sister. At five months, Daena had recently mastered sitting up and rolling on the carpet, but she had also started teething, and was determined to make everyone suffer with her. Aelinor had been using potions to make the process less painful for Daena.

It was time for the dragon's daily exercise, and they were all excited. Daena's egg had hatched in Daena's third month of life, a gorgeous cobalt blue and copper she dragon named Tessarion, for one of the goddesses of the Fourteen Flames. The two month old hatchling wasn't old enough to fly yet, but had started gliding.

Aelinor walked over to Talyrax, who was patiently waiting for her rider. Syrax was nearby, as was Meleys (Rhaenys, Corlys, and Laenor had come to visit) and Caraxes. "Talyrax, bisa iksis ñuha hāedar." (Talyrax, this is my little sister) Aelinor said, introducing the two. Daena squealed excitedly and Talyrax huffed, peering down at her baby sister. " This is going to be her first flight." Aelinor explained.

Talyrax nodded and after making sure Daena was throughly strapped to her chest, she mounted Talyrax. With a roar, Caraxes signaled the start of the flying and shot up, followed by Meleys. Talyrax snapped her wings open and began to fly, climbing higher and higher until they were soaring, before diving down to skim the sea and then shooting back up. Daena laughed into the wind, obviously delighted.

Dreamfyre roared, emerging from the clouds and Aelinor turned to see the massive blue she dragon fly next her. Aemma was saddled onto the great she dragon and Aelinor grinned, waving to her mother. Aemma waved back and Syrax roared, diving down and Rhaenyra laughed in delight, and Aelinor guessed she had spotted their mother, mounted atop Dreamfyre.

Her mother now had a dragon, just like a Targaryen Queen deserved.

Notes:
Aemma gets Dreamfyre! Soon its going to be Viserys's turn to have a dragon
