*real life*

Charles was walking to the driver's meeting at the beginning of the weekend when he saw Max. He rolled his eyes and continued walking to the room as he wanted to arrive a bit early since he needed to be alone. Max was going the other way and didn't notice him. That's why he bumped right into Charles and the monégasque dropped his phone on the ground. They both went to reach it and hey held it together, touching hands a bit. What a coincidence, really.

Max let go of the phone and looked at Charles that was annoyed. He had expectations for his team and did not want to be in another shit show. He looked coldly at the Dutchman waiting for him to let him pass. "Geez, no need to look so angry." Max told him before actually going on the side. "Oh shut up, I just want to be away from the team. Unlike you they don't build the car around me and they keep fucking my races up." He rolled his eyes again and walked away.

He sat up in the back row and put on his AirPods in and some music to relax a bit. A few seconds later he got joined by Max again a few chairs away. "My gosh what do you want following me like that." Charles asked him still annoyed. "Hey relax, not everything is about you you know, Mr perfect." Max told him unimpressed. Charles raised an eyebrow at his statement. He thought he would be insulted, but he wasn't so sure anymore about what Max meant. "Should I take this as a compliment or an insult?" Max looked at him with a questioning look and replied. "An insult, why the hell would I compliment you?" " You just called me Mr perfect." Charles told him.

Max just looked at him dubitative. Why would he call him like that, he's not prefect at all. He just had a nice smile and pretty eyes, but he's not perfect. He was also the only one to really be able to fight him on track without crashing, but he's not perfect. He shook his head slightly, what the hell was happening to him again.

"I never call you that, you're far from perfect. You're stupid, ugly and you can't fight properly on track" Max was right, it's the complete opposite. "Ok, now you relax." Charles said, rolling his eyes. "Oh shut up, stop inventing things." Max was now also rolling his eyes at him.

"Omg why are you so agressive. You always start arguments and can't leave people alone." Charles told him as Max looked offended. The Dutchman completely turned around on his side to face Charles. He looked at him before speaking, at his eyes. "Ok, now you're gonna listen to me stupid prick?! You're going to stop harassing me and provoke me. I accidentally bumped into, ok. And what if? I helped you get your phone and a sat down. Yes maybe I am in the same row but that doesn't mean I want to speak with you. You don't owe this row. Not everything is about you, people are not always interested in you. So you're gonna shut up and let people sit where the fuck they want!" He didn't have air anymore as he rushed everything. Max was even a bit surprised everything he said came out of his mouth. Charles on his side was baffled and didn't know what to say. He was a bit hurt by that.

He turned around putting the volume of his AirPods to the max. He looked into the void in front of him. As he turned around and Max stopped insulting him, someone entered, catching their attention. It was Lewis that entered with Valteri. They sat down in the middle of the room. The duo looked briefly at Max and Charles with a weird look. They were sure they were arguing just a second ago.

Slowly other people started coming into the room as the time of the meeting was approaching. Pierre came and sat down next to Charles. The Frenchman sat on his left so he could be beside Daniel that came at the same time and sat with Max. Even if he wouldn't want to, he needed to sit in the middle with Daniel as Max and Charles needed supervision at all time.
