If you saw this yesterday no you didn't
*real life*
Max knocked on the door, a bit nervous. He didn't know if it was an actual date or just two friends hanging out. Alone after they kissed, once again. He sighed and the door opened to a smiling Charles. He let him enter and Max took off his shoes. They walked up to the living room and Charles went to take the Lego. Max made a few steps and saw something that made him grin. He walked up a bit more and Charles looked at him confused. "You didn't tell me you would actually wear the hoodie with my face." He said smirking. Charles eyes widened. "No! No! It's not that at all it was just there since a while ago and I didn't put it away!" He answered trying not to panic. Max simply walked back to his spot in front of the living room table and waited for him.
They opened the box and got every bag on the table. They took the manual and they gasped seeing the numbers of steps, clearly not used to big legos. They opened the first page and opened the first bag. The result of the first bag was supposed to be the engine, the rear suspensions with the gears. What was fun with those Lego cars is that the steering wheel and the tires could move. And if you bought it, you could have a small electric engine to actually make the car drive and function.
After putting the engine together, Charles was concentrated on attaching it to the back of the car. He had almost his tongue out, which made Max smile as he looked at him. They continued building the Lego while chatting calmly. But at some point Max asked if they could put music on which Charles accepted. Charles got up to take his phone and put some. Max followed him and took his hand to make him dance. He turned him around and moved in rhythm.
Charles giggled when Max made him dance like couples in movies and that he made him jump in the air. The Dutchman's face got all red at the sound and Charles smiled. "What's up? Why are you all red?" He said with a small grin. "You giggled." Max whispered. "What?" Charles asked having clearly heard. "I said, you giggled." Charles' cheeks turned pink at that.
After dancing they settled back into building the Lego. They had now built the front suspension with all the mechanical parts and they were putting the seat with the steering wheel. They put the structure all around the engine and the cockpit. They installed the frame so they would be able to fix the floor and later the outside. It was now late in the afternoon close to the evening and they heard a growl that was coming from Max's side. It was his stomach. Charles looked at him funny, waiting for him to say something.
"Hey I'm kinda hungry, do you have anything?" Max suddenly asked. "Oh yeah. I could cook." Charles proposed with a smile. "Or maybe I can cook?" Charles looked offended. As if him, Charles Lord Perceval Leclerc couldn't cook. How stupid was that, obviously he could cook. "Maybe I could cook and you help me?" Max asked again since his friend-flirt-talking stage? looked so offended. He knew he couldn't cook for shit and he didn't want to eat burnt pasta.
"So do you like show me?" "You already know your way around." Charles simply said smiling. He walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge to see what he had there. Charles walked behind him and put his head on Max's shoulder.
"Take out?" Charles whispered at him. "Nah we can cook an it'll be fun. Just the two of us." Max answered in the same tone.
Max took some ingredients from the fridge and walked up to the cupboards to check there too. He grabbed some other things and went to the kitchen island. He took a peeler and the potatoes he had gotten out of the cupboards. Max was preparing a shepherd's pie. He stood in front of the island while peeling them. Charles sat in front of him on the other side and stared at him cook.
