I am your glorious author Ghost and I present to you "Death" A Fruits Basket Fanfic.
This story will mainly follow the plot of Fruits Basket but will have parts of the 2019 Anime as well as the Manga. I am not Japanese and if I incorrectly portray Japanese customs please let me know in the comments.
This fanfiction is rated mature due to some gruesome scene that is not for the faint of heart. Some common trigger warnings (TWs) that I will present include:
Mentions of character death, Verbal Abuse, Physical Abuse, Manipulation, Yelling, Fighting
If you are triggered by any of these this may not be the fanfic for you as these themes are quite common within the story and it maybe best for you to read something else. Nonetheless I will be adding these and other necessary TWs at the beginning of chapter when I feel they are needed.
There will be no smut in this story. This isn't a love story.
Before the story starts I would also like to present some further information about my oc, Hakumei Sohma.

Eye Colour: Purple, sclera turns from white to black when at full power
Hair Colour: Black with dark blue.
Height: 6'0
Hakumei lives their life as a half crow, half human being. For the most part, Hakumei looks human however they have many bird-like attributes. Some of these attributes can be hidden by Hakumei, however some can not, these include their pointed teeth, their abnormal purple eye colour and their bird legs. Physically Hakumei looks in their mid 20s so similar to Hatori and Shigure's age even though they are much older. Hakumei's wings can be hidden when they are in public settings and for convenience but since often keep them visible especially while they are at the Sohma Estate.
