God told me this day would come, the day they would possess a Sohma with a part of their spirit. I could not be happier that this day had finally come. God is returning to Earth.
I sat on my futon beaming with indescribable amounts of joy. I brushed my tears off of my cheeks. I rose from my futon and wrapped myself with one of my many specially made kimonos, carefully putting my wings through the holes on the back. I hadn't even stepped out of my room when I heard loud footsteps running down the hall and the loud, annoyed voice of Hitomi, the Sohma's head maid, calling after the people who were running. I step out of my room and see the young faces of Shigure, Kureno, Hatori and Ayame Sohma running down the hall toward Akira and Ren's room. Before they could make it to the room I quickly stepped fully out of my room blocking the boys from getting to the Sohma head's room.
"Would one of you like to inform me of why you are all in such a rush so early in the morning to see the head of the family?" I asked the young children.
The 4 boys paled and bowed.
"Hakumei-sama, we are truly sorry for disturbing you." Hatori said, solemnly.
I smile, "It is quite alright, although you still did not answer my question."
Shigure spoke up this time. "We must see Ren-san. We all had a dream, a beautiful wondrous dream about our God. Ren-san is pregnant with our God." Shigure looked at me with joyous eyes with tears starting to leak out of the corner of them.
I smile and put my hand on his cheek, wiping away the tears. "I guess I wasn't the only one that had the dream."
The boy's eyes widened in shock. "So it's true then Sensei, God is coming to our world." Kureno asked.
"Yes Kureno-kun, God is returning to Earth."
"Then we must see Ren right away." Shigure said, hurriedly, trying to push past me.
"Patience Shigure-kun, patience." I told the young boy who didn't bother trying to hide his distaste of having to wait. "Ren does not even know she is pregnant yet, you can't all just go barging into her room and crying about someone who isn't even born yet. We must explain what is going on so she does not get overwhelmed."
Shigue groaned, "But that's so boring."
"I understand that, Shigure, but it is the right thing to do." I tell the boy, ruffling his hair.
The boy pouted but didn't argue further. So we walked to the hall and I knocked on the door of the Sohma head's bedroom.
The door was open and I was greeted by the pale-face of Akira Sohma. "Good morning, Akira-san. I hope we did not wake you or Ren-san." I greet the Sohma head.
"Hakumei-sama, it's good to see you, Ren and I were awake, don't worry. How can we help you and the boys?" Akira asked,
"We wish to speak to you and Ren-san, with a matter that is quite unique." I say.
Akira nods, "Of course, come in. Ren is just on the deck outside."
The boys and I walked into the room, it was full of sunlight which streamed in through the open shoji. Ren turned around to look at us as we entered the room. "Akira, why are there children here?" She frowned.
"Hakumei says they have a matter to speak with us about." Akira tells his wife.
Ren stood up and walked over to stand next to Akira and turned to me. "Well, Hakumei-sama, what do you wish to tell us?"
