It began to rain. In the middle of reading I see Brayan close his homework and stretch.
"I think I'm gonna walk around for a bit and find something to read, wanna come with" I look at our stuff and wonder
"Don't worry, no one will touch your things. it's a library" I nod and close the book. Leaving a book mark on the corner. He starts to walk towards the middle of the Libary.
"What did you think about the book so far"  he says quietly as he walks around and looks at the books.
"It's kinda dark for a light kinda of reading" I chuckled
"It kinda puts things into perspective huh?"
"Kinda, I still have a hard time understanding what he is trying to convey"
"That's the beauty of writing, you can say what you want to say without saying"
"True, but what if you want to say what you really feel. No short cuts or metaphors" the lights start to flicker and the lights go out. I didn't realize how close I was to him. I stared into his brown eyes. It was dark but light enough I could see him.
"than say it..." he whispered. for a moment it was just me and him. in the middle of a isle of books. I could feel his breath on my chest. I move in close to his face.
"can I show you?" He nods. our lips touch slowly. For a second the world I was in made sense. The lights go back on. Brayan walks back.
"I'm sorry" and walks away from me. I didn't bother to run after him. It was my move. My mistake. a mistake I wanted to make again and again.
