The next day, you and Rebecca are walking down the streets of New York City. She's taking you to meet the Butcher Gang. A trio of criminals. She told you that the leader himself wants to meet you. Little did you realize, things would change for you forever once you see Charley.
As you walk, you say, "Hey, sis. I'm getting kinda hungry." She sighs and says, "So am I. We'll get to a store. I've managed to snatch 50 cents from mom's dresser while you were out with dad, yesterday. We've got plenty for some snacks and soda." You grin.
You and Rebecca get to a grocery store and you head inside. You get what you need and you've got a couple of snacks and two bottles of Coca-Cola. One for each of you. You say, "Wow. Thanks, sis." She says, "Anytime. Trust me, I was hungry too. Maybe it's a lady thing to be constantly hungry? Or dad just shouts at me."
You say, "Sis. I don't like it when daddy shouts at you. I really don't. You're the best sister I could ever have." She says, "Ah, it's alright. At least YOU'RE getting some love. He loves you no matter what. You know he doesn't treat mom any different from me. But I stopped giving a shit a long time ago." You say, "Oh." She says, "Come on. We're going to their place. Charley's place." You follow your sister. You eat your Charleston Chew bar as you walk along.
You and Rebecca reach an apartment building on the bad side of town. You say, "Is this it?" She says, "Yeah. They'll be upstairs. There's things you should know about this side of New York, little sister... It's bad. Gang fights. Drive by shootings and all. The Butcher Gang are the most notorious ones here. Even thugs and criminals around here fear them. Luckily, I've been a part of them for quite some time, so you'll be alright. You are MY sister."
You say, "Okay. Stay close to me, sis. Please?" She grabs your hand and she says, "I am. I ain't going to let a goddamn thing happen to you, so long as I and the guys are around. Come on." You follow her inside.
You were unaware of a teenage girl with blonde locks and a black dress on. Cigarette in her hand. She saw you guys and she says, "So... Miss. Rebecca decided to actually bring the kid with her to see the boys, eh? And Charley, himself." She shrugs and says, "Meh. The little gal can't be that obnoxious. I usually hate kids but... she could be alright." She stands there, smoking her cigarette.
She peeks over at a man walking by and she sees his wallet in the back pocket of his pants. She smirks and she throws her cigarette aside. She chuckles and says, "Bingo. I smell money. Anythin' for a good ol' plate of spaghetti and meatballs." She approaches the man, about to possibly pickpocket him.
You and Rebecca are inside the apartment building and you walk upstairs to the fourth floor. You follow her through the corridor and you get to a door. Apartment 23. She says, "This is it. Charley's apartment." You cling to her. She says, "You'll be alright. Remember... You're MY sister." You nod. She knocks and you both wait.
The door opens and there's a middle-aged man with a black and gray beard, eye patch, a sailor hat, etc. He sees Rebecca and a smaller girl. He says, "Ay. Rebecca. Fancy seein' ya here, lassie. I see ya got the kid with ya, now."
Rebecca says, "Yeah. I have her. My sister. (Y/N)." You look up at the older man. He looks down and he suddenly feels as though he'll step in as a somewhat father figure. He says, "Ey there, little lassie." You say, "Hi, mister."
He says, "The name be Barley Fisher." You say, "Mister Barley, sir." He looks at Rebecca and he says, "Both of ya get in here. Charley's in the kitchen. So is Edgar." You follow Rebecca inside and the door shuts.
You follow your sister and Barley to the kitchen and you see two more individuals. You see a young spider boy, possibly in his mid to late teens. That would be Edgar Striker. He sees you guys and says, "'Bout time ya's got here." Rebecca says, "Hi, Edgar. I have her."
