Later on in the evening, you and Rebecca are back from the store. You've got groceries, so now you can cook dinner. And that's exactly what you're doing right now. You're making a ham and bean soup. Some candied yams. Bread and butter to go with it. You've got the small radio in there on and playing Believe It, Beloved by Fats Waller. You're dancing to it a bit as you cook the soup.

You walk away and you grab a few bowls. You dance as you do it. You set the bowls and spoons down and you set small plates down for the yams. You walk back to the stove, kind of dancing to the rhythm of the song as you do. You continue the soup.

You suddenly hear a familiar high-pitched male voice saying this, "Ooh boy. That smells great. What is it, huh? Soup?" You say, "Hi, Edgar. Yeah. It is. Ham and beans." He grins and licks his lips saying, "Ey. Anything with meat in it is great by me."

You say, "There's also candied yams and bread and butter to go with it." He grins and says, "Ooh man." He rubs his hands together and he says, "I can already tell this will be the best thing I had in years. Or... ever. Especially after bein' behind bars for a while with all the rotten food."

You say, "Patience, Edgar. It'll be done, soon." He says, "My ma and pa never cooked for me. Just gave me some change to walk out and buy whatever I could get to survive. They didn't care how long I was gone. They didn't care, at all. Period. This is why I left them and went to live with Charley."

You feel bad and you say, "Well, don't you fret. You'll get a meal. All of you." You stir the soup and you say, "Oh and um... I'm sorry for being scared of you at first when I was a kid." He says, "Ey, come on. I'd been over that, before. That was nothin' compared to my parents' treatment towards me. I didn't mind. Didn't bother me, before." You smile and you say, "That's good." Edgar sits at the table.

You get the food done and you pick up a small bell. You ring it and you yell, "Dinner's ready!! Come get it while it's hot!" You see Charley, Barley and your sister come out of their rooms. Barley and Edgar actually share a room. You and Rebecca share one, so Charley's the only one with his own room, which is beyond his office. And since he is the boss.

They grab their bowls and they walk to the soup pot where you stand. You put some soup in their bowls and Rebecca comes to you. She takes the ladle from you and she says, "I've got this. Go sit down." You say, "Thanks, sis." She fixes her own bowl and she sits with you guys.

You say, "Oh shit. I almost forgot." Barley says, "What would that be, lassie? We got the stuff we need here." You say, "Refreshments." You walk to the fridge and you open it. You say, "Rebecca and I got some soda, too." You get out about five bottles of Coca-Cola. You walk over and you set them down saying, "Now, we should be good. Can't have food without a beverage now, can we? No."

You sit down. You each grab a bottle of Coke and you open yours. You say, "So. Let's eat, huh?" The guys kind of go to town with eating their dinner. Edgar says, "Mm mm! Oh my god! This is the best dang thing I had in years!" He continues eating his soup.

Barley says, "Yarr. I second that. You'd outdone yourself, sweetheart." He eats his dinner. Charley sighs and smiles whispering, "Be my wife, (Y/N).~" You all look over. Charley says, "Oh um... The soup is nice, kid." You smile and you say, "Thanks, boss." You look away and you quietly giggle to yourself thinking, "I know exactly what he said. Oh, how I wish."

Charley says, "Within a couple of hours, our next heist." Edgar says, "What'll it be, boss?" Charley says, "Well, boys... We're breakin' into a pub. We'll be stealin' the best booze they got." You smile and you say, "This sounds interesting." You look at Charley.
