The next day, you and your sister are at home. You're both listening to some comedy from the Marx Brothers on the radio. It's the password sketch and you're laughing at it. You say, "I love these guys." Rebecca says, "Heh heh. Yeah. They're a real joy." You say, "We saw this particular one in the theater. They both get locked out in the end." She says, "Yeah. I remember that."

You listen to more of the Marx Brothers until it's over. Then you turn the dial to some tunes. The song It's Only a Paper Moon by Paul Whiteman ft. Peggy Healy for the vocals. You smile and you sit back.

You and Rebecca hear a knock on the door and Rebecca says, "Wonder who that is. Better not be that chump Bendy and his friend Boris." She gets up and walks to the front door. You say, "Hopefully, it's not neighbors complaining about our music." She looks at you and says, "If it is, they'll have to fucking deal with it. They have young neighbors who love music."

She opens the door to see a young boy there. He's got a letter in his hand. Rebecca says, "Yeah? What do you want, kid?" He says, "I came here to give this very apartment this letter. They said apartment 33." You hear this and you look over.

Rebecca says, "For us?" He nods. You get up and you walk over. You see a kid. You say, "Oh. Hi. What do you got there?" He says, "A letter." You say, "Hand me that, would you kiddo?" He nods and he holds it out to you. You take it. You look at him and you say, "Thank you." He smiles and says, "Anytime. I..."

He takes another look at you and he smirks. He says, "Whoooa, mama.~" You can't help but giggle. Rebecca sighs and says, "Scram, kid." The kid says, "Y-yeah. Sure thing. H-have a good day." He walks off. Rebecca says, "Even some male children can be stupid about a woman." You say, "Oh, it's okay. I am curious about this letter." She says, "Bring it inside." She closes the door.

You both walk to the couch and you sit down. You look at the letter and it's blank. But it says this, "Miss. Rebecca and her little sister. Open asap." You say, "I guess we should open it, huh?" You open it and you get out a letter.

You unfold it and you read it...

"Rebecca and (Y/N). It's us. The Butcher Gang. This is Charley writing this to you. We've figured out your address because after busting out, we saw the two of you walking out of the diner. We're currently residing in a warehouse. The first one on the left near the bay. Be seeing you two once again after so long. It's time. Meet us here this evening before 8pm."

You gasp and you put your hand over your mouth. Rebecca says, "My god. This is from the guys." You sigh and you put your hand down. You say, "Oh, Charley." Rebecca says, "That settles it then... We're going to the warehouses near the bay, tomorrow." You sigh and you smile.

About a half hour later, you and Rebecca are walking down the street to get to the warehouses. Again, you have your radio with you. You take it with you everywhere you go. This was the day you would finally see the Butcher Gang once again after a decade.

You sigh and you smile. Rebecca says, "We're almost there. I can see the bay from here." You say, "Good." As you walk, you near the bay. You see about nine to ten warehouses. And near a few docks. Rebecca says, "Come on. The letter said first one on the left." You get to that particular warehouse and you get to the door. Rebecca knocks and you both stand there and wait.

The door opens and you see a familiar sailor criminal. Only his beard is now white because of age. Turns out to be Barley. He says, "Argh. Who be stumblin' on the headquarters of the Butcher Gang?" Rebecca says, "Hello again, Barley."

He says, "Wait a sec... Rebecca?" Rebecca says, "Yes. It's us." He looks to see you and he says, "W-wait a moment. Hold the phone... (Y/N)? Is that you?" You smile and you say, "Hi, Barley... It's me. (Y/N)." He says, "Well, look at ya. All grown up. It's been a long time, little lass."

Rebecca says, "We got your letter." Barley says, "Get on in here. Both of ya's." Barley lets you inside and he shuts the door. You look around and you say, "Wow. Warehouses are bigger on the inside."

You hear a higher pitched male voice saying, "Ey! Barley! Who's that in our warehouse?!" You and Rebecca look over and you see a familiar spider guy. He comes down from where he was and he faces you and Rebecca. He says, "Wait a minute... Miss. Rebecca? And..." His eyes widen as he sees you. He says, "(Y-Y/N)?" You say, "Hi, Edgar."

He says, "W-wowza. Y-ya really grew." Rebecca says, "It's been a while." She looks around and she says, "Where's Charley?" You blush at the thought of him. Barley says, "Yarr. The boss be in his office. Right over yonder." He points over at a door about thirty feet away and you look over. Rebecca looks at you and says, "Go ahead, (Y/N)." You smile and you say, "Okay. I'll be back."

You walk from Rebecca, Barley and Edgar and you walk your way to the door that was pointed at. The office door. You knock, but no answer. You hear Edgar telling you, "Go on in!" You look back and you nod. You face the door and you open it. You head inside.

You get in there and you shut the door behind you. You turn around and you look around. You say, "Charley?... Charley, you in here?" You walk around a bit. You stop and you look over at a desk.

The chair behind it is faced the other way, so you see nobody at the moment. You sigh and you say, "It's me, Charley... (Y/N). Rebecca's younger sister. If you can hear me, I'm here." You turn around to face the door you came into. The chair behind the desk turns to face you and a man is shown. Grin on his face.

You suddenly hear a familiar deep voice saying, "Long time, no see, kid." You turn to face who said it and you see him. There he is... Charley Piper. Lead Butcher Gang. He has no hair on the top of his head, but he does on the sides of his head, facial hair, a black suit on, etc. He still looks the same, nonetheless. Hasn't aged in the face.

You smile and you say, "Hi, Charley." He sees you and he says, "My, how you've grown.~" You blush and you say, "It's been a while, Charley. Too long." He says, "That is has, doll face. Doin' time really sucks the joy outta you... Come closer, would ya?" You approach him and you stand in front of his desk.

He whispers, "By god, you've gotten lovely.~" You look at him and you say, "I've missed you. You have no idea." He says, "I know you have. I've been fully aware of how you've seen me for quite some time, (Y/N)." You say, "You... have?"

He nods and he says, "But what can I say, huh? I had that luck of a young girl with such pretty eyes seeing me as if I'm hot stuff. Seeing you now, it's even better knowing that since you're grown... and quite a keeper.~" You blush and you smile.

He gets a cigar out and he puts it in his mouth. He lights it and smokes it. He sits back and rests his feet upon the desk. He says, "Listen, kid... You may be part of us. Your sister may have influenced ya... but for now, I need you to stay behind until you're ready. Not everything's safe for a young minx like yourself, ya know."

You say, "You'd really do that for me?" He says, "Only you, kid." You blush and you smile. You look at him and you say, "It's good seeing you again, Charley. I've missed you while you were locked up in prison. It's been too long." He says, "Stick around, doll. Ya know I wouldn't want anything bad happening to YOU.~" You smile. He grins and says, "Welcome back, kid.~"

You hear Edgar yelling, "Ey, boss! You comin' outta there or what?! And the gal?!" Charley gets up and he says, "Come on." He walks to the door and opens it. He looks at you and he smirks and says, "After you.~" You smile and you say, "Awe. Charley.~" He chuckles and says, "Anything you need, kid." You walk out and he follows you out to the others.
