I wrote so many letters,
To find their way to you.
To beg you, to please you,
To let you know I need you.
Oh, silly little me.I discovered a whole new shore,
For you to be the king.
Merely for you to reign
Mercilessly over me.
Oh, silly little me.I put out the flames
As if they were nothing,
Forgetting afterwards I must
Inhale cinder, smoke and dust.
Oh, silly little me.I thought someone would save me
Before the ground caves in.
In vain, I've waited a while,
But got stuck alone in a broken tile.
Oh, silly little me.I had so many dreams and hopes,
But the stars used them against me.
Next time I'll be careful what I wish for,
Or otherwise I'll be
Just again, you'd see,
That silly little me.
