As Second walked down the hallways, he finally made it to the room. Room 049..

He hesitantly opened the door, to reveal Green on the hospital bed, who perked up once Second opened the door.

"Second!" He shouted before going into a small coughing fit. Second came over, ushering Green to lie down. Green nervously giggled.

Second sighed. "I'm so glad you're here.. A-Alive! I mean.. I heard the news and thought.. you know.." Second looked to the side as Green smiled at him.

"It was a mistake.. I'd be gaining nothing from it honestly.. they'd probably use my death for clout anyways." He spoke as Second's head perked up.

".."They"?" He asked. Green rolled his eyes, looking to the side.

"My dumbass parents.. well— my mother actually. I have no fucking idea where my dad is.." He groaned. "Duuude.. I wish I had the money to move out.. but shits expensive, ya know?" He asked as Second nodded.

"You know.. if you ever need somewhere to crash, even just for like a few days or a week.. you can always call me." Second smiled as Green raised an eyebrow.

"You sure Alan would be okay with that?" Green asked.

"I don't know for sure that he wouldn't~" Second giggled.

"That's.. not exactly a valid argument.." Green rolled his eyes. "But eh. Whatever."

The two laughed as Second stood up. "Okay, I wish I could stay longer but I have some things to get to.. and stuff." He said as Green laughed again.

"Goooo, Sec! Just.. call me when you're free." Green smiled as Second nodded.

"Feel better.. and please— don't do anything rash.. okay??" Second said as Green laughed again.

"Gooooo!!!" He said as Second nervously giggled, exiting the building.

"Pft.. dumbass.~" Green giggled to himself.

As Second walked outside, he saw the familiar white car and giggled to himself, walking over. He got into the car, putting on his seatbelt.

"Thanks for.. offering to drive me here, Ms. Scarlett.." Second smiled.

"Oh, it's nothing dear, really." She giggled. "Now.. You're going home, correct?" She asked as Second thought.

"..actually, can I come back to your place? Kinda wanna see Red.."

"Oh, of course, dear!" She smiled, starting the car, as they started to drive.

As they got home, Scarlet opened the door to reveal Red doing the dishes. "Red, honey, I'm home.." she said as Red nodded.

Scarlet looked at Second, winking before turning to Red. "Second is here."

She spoke, as Red practically dropped the plate in the sink, coughing. "AH—C— SEcond!" He said, swiftly turning around.

"Ah, yea, okay Uhm.. let me just, finish the dishes, Sec." He said, turning back around. Scarlet crossed her arms.

"Ahem. Red you seem awfully eager to finish your chores.." She said, clearing her throat as Red groaned.

"I'm a changed man, mama!" He argued as Scarlet sighed and walked over to him.

"Baby.. your boyfriend is here! The chores can wait.. dinner isn't for another couple hours." Scarlet spoke.

Red sighed, wiping off his hands, before nodding. He walked over to Second.

"Okay, come on." He said as he walked into his room, with Second following. Second closed the door behind the two once they entered Red's room. Second sat on the bed next to Red, placing his hand on top of his on the bed. Red then put his hands into his pockets.

"Second." Red said, staring at the ground.

Second looked at him. "Huh?"

"I.. I've been thinking.. I uh.. I think.. maybe.." Red spoke, tears forming in his eyes.

"I think.. it's best if we.. start seeing other people.." He said. Second was completely silent. That sentence.. broke him.

"W-w-...wh..what??" Second choked out in tears, standing up. "W-was I not enough??"

"N-No!! No!!" Red said, grabbing Second's shoulders gently. "I-It's not that it's just.. it's not you.. it's me.—"

"Oh spare me the bullshit, Red!!" Second shouted, shoving him off of him. "I may be your small little boy toy, but I'm not fucking stupid! I wasn't born yesterday!"

Red used all the strength he had to hold in his tears. "Second please, it's just.. you've been so distant lately I don't.. I don't feel loved.. not anymore.."

"Oh—FUCCCKDUDE.." Second groaned, grabbing his hair. "So I'm not with you every second of the day and suddenly I'm no longer useful to you??"

"Second—"

"Well I'm sorry, Red. God forbid I'm not feeling well and want some fucking space to myself!!" Second snapped as Red sighed.

"Second, you've been ignoring my texts, my calls, everything! You haven't spoken to me since we came back from break!! So enlighten me. Tell me what's so important that you would ignore your own boyfriend for an entire two weeks!!" Red shouted as Second clenched his fists.

He was silent..  wait. Why was he ignoring him..?

"Exactly." Red said. "I don't get you anymore, man. I don't know if you wanted a fling of some sort, or just weren't ready for a relationship but I'm not going to sit here and sacrifice my own mental health because you wanna play some.. some.. FUCKING GAME. I'm over it, Sec." Red sighed.

"A- Red—"

"You know what fucking hurts the most about this?? Is that I actually.. fucking loved you. I loved you, Second. So.. so.. much. But it doesn't seem like the feeling was mutual."  Red groaned. "Just face it, Second. Wether you want to believe it or not, wether it was.. intentional or not.. you were not a good partner."

Second stood there, those words stained him like wine on a white carpet.

Red's eyes widened, as he let what he just said sink in. "S-Second, I'm sorry—"

Before he could finish, Second just ran out the house. He continued running. He just kept running and running and running..

Until he bumped into someone who held his shoulders.

"Wh— woah, hey hey hey, you okay??" Second looked up to see Yellow, holding a bunch of grocery bags. Second was overwhelmed by everything and just hugged him.

Yellow sighed. "Come on. It's cold out. We can talk things out inside." He spoke, as the two made their way back to Yellow's house..
