Red had a pit in his stomach the whole day. He was going to have dinner with Second's family. Sure he's met them before but this was a proper introduction finally.

And worst of all.. they most likely knew about the break-up-make-up!

So yeah, understandably, Red was nervous. As he walked down the street, on the phone with Second, he felt his words tremble.

"A-And you're sure they'll like me?" He asked a bit nervous as Second gave a giggle through the phone.

"Oh relax, Cherry, they're not gonna declare war on you over a tiny breakup!" He said, making Red sigh.

"I sure hope so.." That's when Red heard someone yelling Second's name through the other side of the phone.

"Hhhhhhh.. sorry that's— that's Chosen. I'll.. I'll see you when you get here! Haha, kisses! Mwa mwa mwa! Okay bye bye!" Second said before hanging up.

Red gave a sigh, pulling on his jacket strings. As he approached the door he could feel the pit in his stomach become even worse. He gave one more inhale and exhaled softly before knocking on the door three times.

Silence.

After a bit, the door was opened. it was Alan.

He stared down at Red for a second before smiling. "Ah, Red, so great to see you! ^^" His smile was so obviously forced..

"Ahahah.. uh.. where is Second?" Red nervously asked.

Alan was silent again and the air felt so tense. He wanted to disappear..

"Dad, move, movvveeee!!" Second said, playfully shoving Alan out the way and grabbing Red's hand.

Alan rolled his eyes with a smile as Second dragged Red off to his room. Victim was sat down on the couch with Chosen.

"What was all that about?" He spoke as Alan sighed.

".. Was I being too harsh? I mean.. he did hurt Second.. and I just wanted to protect him." Alan spoke.

Chosen fidgeted with his hands, looking down. "We all do.. but.. we can't physically stop him from liking this guy.. even if he did hurt Second."

Alan sighed again. "You're right. All I can do is hope he makes the right decision. I don't want him to get hurt." He spoke. Once he said those words, Victim stood up and walks in the direction of the two boy's room.

"Don't do anything stupid, Vic." Chosen spoke as Victim only chuckled in response.

Red and Second on the other hand we're laying down on Second's bed. They were spooning basically and Second was getting all the warmth and love in the world as Red was also playing with Sec's hair.

Second simply yawned.

"If you want, you can take a nap, baby." Red gave a small, soft laugh as Second shook his head.

"I can't.. dinner is gonna be done soon anyways." Second sighed. Red simply laughed as he kissed his neck softly.

That's when there was a knock at the already slightly opened door. The two boys sat up and turned towards whoever was at the door.

"Oh. Hey V." Second said, as Victim crossed his arms.

"Hmm. I see you two are getting cozy." He said with a smile. "You don't mind if I borrow Red, right? Just a small chat."

"Uh.." Second seemed understandably thrown off. Victim was a very disconnected from the world type of guy. A..hmm benevolent yet unsettling? Uncanny? Hm. Either way, he had suspicions about this idea.

"Ah, sure. Just.. don't kill him, please." He nervously giggled. Victim's smile only grew wider. "No promises~"

The two soon left the room, as Red followed Victim to the back porch.

"So uh,." Red fidgeted with his hands. "What did.. what did youuu.. want to talk about?" Red asked, as Victim giggled to himself.

"Oh sweet, innocent, Red, it's been a while, hasn't it? I remember the last time you were close to my brother. It didn't end... so well, did it?" He spoke, walking to Red's side, putting a hand on his shoulder. "But I suppose you've learned now, haven't you?"

"Uu-uh.." Red choked out, already feeling super uncomfy. "Y-yeah. It was a dumb mistake I made."

"Ah, I See. You must care for him deeply to come back. I wonder... how much you've changed since before. You wouldn't want to hurt him again, right? I'd hate to see that happen." He spoke once more, still with that grin on his face. "Second is fragile in ways he doesn't show. He believes in second chances, but me? I'm not so forgiving. But if you hurt him again, I'm sure I won't need to intervene... life has a way of correcting itself."

"W-What do you mean, intervene??" Red asked as Victim walked in front of him.

"It's sweet that you're trying to make things right with him." He giggled. "But you see, hearts are sweet, fragile, little things. Break them once and they don't ever heal the same.." He said, making direct eye contact with Red. Red was now sweating.

"After all, it would be quite a shame if you broke his heart again and something happened to you.. you suddenly went.. missing, hm?"

"A-Are you threatening me??" Red snapped as Victim walked over, putting his hands on Red's shoulders.

"Oh, of course not. You think so little of me. I'm.. simply warning you is all." He gave another giggled as Red shoved him off him, backing up.

"I'm sure you're aware that I'm the CEO of RocketCorp." He smiled. "I have eyes everywhere, I own everything from the security cameras around the city, all the way down to your friend's cell phones."

"So here's a warning, I don't want to hear Second crying an utter peep about anything negative towards you. Accidents happen all the time, dear. Especially fatal ones." Victim spoke, patting Red's shoulder as he went back inside.

Red felt a sense of.. uneasiness the rest of the visit. Every time he was within range, he could just feel Victim staring at him.

And the worst part was, he knew..

Victim was always a man of his word.
