In the embrace of darkness and the quiet sanctuary of my room, we drift into sleep, entwined in each other's presence, finding solace in the simple act of being together amidst the chaos that surrounds us.

I wake up to the soft light filtering through the curtains, the morning bringing a sense of calm after the storm of the previous night. With a deep breath, I stretch and shake off the remnants of sleep, feeling a renewed determination to face whatever challenges await.

After freshening up quickly, I quietly make my way to the kitchen, intent on preparing a comforting breakfast for Lisa. The familiar routine of cracking eggs into a bowl, slicing vegetables, and brewing coffee grounds me in the simple acts of care and nourishment.

The scent of sizzling bacon and the gentle bubbling of coffee fill the kitchen as I focus on each task, finding solace in the rhythm of the morning ritual. The clink of utensils against ceramic dishes is a soothing backdrop to my thoughts, a temporary respite from the complexities of our shared reality.

With everything ready, I set the table thoughtfully, arranging plates and utensils with a touch of care. The aroma of breakfast lingers invitingly as I gently approach Lisa's room, lightly knocking on the door before pushing it open.

"Hey, Lisa," I say softly, stepping inside. The sight of her sleeping peacefully, her features softened in slumber, warms my heart. I gently place a hand on her shoulder, shaking her awake with a tender touch.

"Good morning," I murmur, my voice filled with affection. "I made breakfast for us."

Lisa stirs awake, blinking sleepily before her gaze focuses on me. A soft smile curves her lips as she sits up, stretching lightly.

With a nod, Lisa gets up from the bed, following me to the kitchen where the table is set with steaming plates of eggs, bacon, and freshly brewed coffee. The simple spread invites us to sit down together, sharing a meal that speaks of comfort and care.

As we eat, the morning unfolds with quiet conversation and shared moments of understanding. The weight of last night's events lingers in the background, but in this moment, we find solace in each other's company, fortified by the simple act of being together.

"Hey, Yena," I answer with a smile, holding the phone to my ear. "I'm good. I miss you so much."

Yena's voice comes through the phone, a mix of warmth and curiosity. "I miss you too, Y/n. How's everything going over there?"

As I glance over at Lisa, who's quietly sipping her coffee, I reply, "It's been intense, but we're managing. Lisa's been a huge support."

"That's good to hear," Yena responds, genuine relief evident in her tone. "I've been thinking about you a lot. How are you holding up?"

I take a moment to reflect, feeling grateful for Yena's concern and our friendship that spans distances. "It's been tough, but having people like you makes it easier," I admit honestly.

Yena's voice carries through the phone with a hopeful tone. "Do you wanna hang out today?"

A flicker of hesitation crosses my mind, considering everything that's been happening. Glancing at Lisa, who's listening quietly, I feel a sense of warmth and reassurance. "I'd love to," I reply warmly, a smile tugging at my lips. "Maybe we can grab lunch or something."

Lisa nods encouragingly, her eyes meeting mine with a silent understanding. "That sounds great," Yena agrees eagerly. "Let's meet up around noon?"

"Perfect," I confirm, feeling a spark of anticipation. "See you then."

After ending the call, I turn to Lisa, a grateful smile spreading across my face. "Yena wants to hang out today," I share excitedly. "It'll be nice to catch up."
