"Happy new year" We all shouted as Aisha hugged me while I hugged her back, the hall was filled  with delight and joy as everyone shouted in happiness.

"Happy new year bhabhi" Abhay said coming close to us.

I called him this morning only, it's been a long time since we met and on the top of that he wanted to meet Aisha.

"Happy new year Abhay" She said with a smile.

"Happy new year Abhay" I said taking his attention while he rolled his eyes.

"Oh same to you" He said as he continued to talk to her while I rolled my eyes.

A smile made its place on my face as  I admired her, a genuine smile adorned on her face as she talked with Abhay, this girl is taking over my whole family.

But I love this.

The new year celebrations finally halted as everyone started yawning and feeling tired, my eyes fell on her who had slipped into tranquility, her lips were a bit apart, while her face reflected peace.

I took her in the room and placed her on the bed, covering her with the duvet gently, I kissed her forehead.

"Good night Shinchan" I whispered as I craesed her cheeks and closed the lights.

Next morning, Aisha and her mom was leaving because Aisha's having her college.

I hugged her and kissed her hairs, while she smiled and hugged me back.

"Take care Shinchan" I muttered against her ears while she nodded.

"You too, all the best for your next match" She said softly as she ruffled my hairs, making me chuckle.

"I will miss you" I said making her chuckle as she leaned and kept her lips on mine making me startle for a second.

But soon, the kiss turned passionate as we both devoured ourselves in that.
Reluctantly, we broke the kiss as we both felt short of air.

"That was bold Shinchan" I teased while red hue was on her face.

I ruffled her hairs and kissed her forehead as we moved downstairs.

"It was so nice to have you Kavita, aate rehna" Mumma said softly as she hugged Aisha's mom.

"Didn't realized when the days passed" Di said, sadness reflecting in her tone as she hugged Aisha.

"It's ok, she will have to come here now everytime she is on vacations" Papa said patting her head while I smiled.

That sounded so good, her being here with me for forever, gosh this sounds so good.

"Shub what happened?" Aisha's confused voice brought me out as I moved my head in no.

"We are getting late now, we should leave" Kavita aunty said as I sat on the driver's seat, with Aisha on the passenger seat and aunty on the back.

"Bye everyone" Aisha shouted as I drove, a smile there on my face, as I realized how she is so good with my family.

The drive to the airport was not that long as we reached there, I quickly took their luggage inside as they both followed me.

"Bye Aunty take care and have your medicines regularly" I said hugging her while she chuckled.

"Don't be another Aisha now" She said playfully, hitting my shoulders while I giggled and Aisha sighed.

"Bye shinchan" I exclaimed and hugged her while she chuckled and wrapped her arms around me.

"Bye Shubi" She whispered coming out of the hug.

"Take care you both" I said looking at them while they grinned and nodded positively.

That was it, they turned and went on thr check in counter.

As she gave me a last glance, I gave her a flying kiss, while she chuckled and moved her head in disbelief while I grinned.

She mouthed I love you as she entered inside making my heart flutter while she turned and moved, her retreating figure slowly moving away from my sight.

I could feel myself smiling like an idiot as her I love you played in my mind.

She is driving me crazy.

Aisha's pov
We were back in Shimla, after a wonderful new year party at Chandigarh at Shubi's place.

I met jugnu, Abhay, komal di and many more of his cousins and friends and trust me they all were amazing.

The college went good today, but the rare thing was that Maa didn't called me today like everyday.

Shrugging off my thoughts, I took out the spare keys and opened the door.

As I entered the living room, the warm glow of the setting sun painted the room in shades of orange and gold.
Maa was supposed to be resting on the couch or in the kitchen.

However, what I saw froze me in place. There she was, lying motionless on the floor, a book she had been reading earlier now slipped from her hand.

My heart pounded in my chest as I rushed to her side, dropping to my knees beside her.

"Maa"  I shouted, my voice trembling with fear. I gently shook her, hoping for any response, but she remained unresponsive.

Panic gripped me as I fumbled for my phone to dial for help, my fingers shaking as I dialed the number for ambulance.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I whispered words of encouragement to her, praying for her to wake up.

The sound of siren in the distance brought a mix of relief and anxiety. As the nurse rushed in, I stepped back, my hands clasped tightly together, watching with fear, as they kept her on the stretcher and started taking her out.

In that moment, time seemed to stand still, and all I could do was wait to follow them.

Paulami aunty, who was in her garden spotted us and I hear her shouting.

"Aisha, Wh...what happened?" She shouted, stammering a bit, as she noticed tears in my eyes and the ambulance, she rushed towards me, cupping my cheeks while I opened my mouth to say something but was not able to.

"M..a..a" I finally managed to took out some words from my mouth as my lips trembled and the ambulance driver told me to sit inside.

"I..I..am coming too" Palaumi auny's scared voice drew my attention while I nodded and we both sat inside.

My eyes were on Maa, as she was lying motionless, her face pale, her..her heartbeat slow.

The nurse was checking her while I was praying silently. I can't loose her. God please save her, please.

Tears kept flowing from my eyes as my gaze didn't left her even for a second, while paulami aunty kept her hand on my shoulder.

Currently some personal issues are going on in my life, so just needed some time .
