Just as I was about to settle into the chair nearest to me, I noticed the distinct, pleasant scent of black tea, which gave me nostalgia and served as a reminder of both me and cousin Levi's time back in the underground, where we'd steal exquisite black tea bags from the nearest local shop. In fact, we were both known for the notorious crimes we both committed during our time there.
Right before I was going to go for another round of rocking my chair, my attention slowly shifted towards the sound of the door handle moving. Suddenly, the door opened to reveal a petite figure of the person I needed to have an important talk with: Captain Levi. As his figure came towards me, I couldn't help but notice the same stoic expression he held on his face.
"Quick staring at me, brat," he said to me in a stern voice, which would probably make the other comrades instantly crumble in front of his sight if they were to be in my position in this very moment, but unlike me, I'm not scared of this leprechaun, sadly. "Don't come after me because you didn't manage to inherit the height genes." (Y/N) i harshly stated whilst hearing his little 'tut' which was exhilarating.
"So why did you randomly show up in my office?" as his sudden words brought me back to reality, i adjusted my posture on the chair and took a deep breath. "I want to join the survey corps!"
"tch you must be kidding (y/n) why?, you know real well I don't want you to end up getting killed" replied Levi as I swore to myself I saw a glimpse of sudden sadness coming from his face which slowly faded away. My heart suddenly dropped "i know how much you care for me but Levi I want to join you since you're my only family left and not just only that... it's my dream" I replied hesitantly not daring to hold eye contact with the man infront of me the man who I cared for the most.
I heard a little sigh and that's when I felt a hand on my porcelain cheeks as my cousin lifted my head to meet his gaze and said "(y/n) I trust you, you can join the survey corps"
Furthermore, that was just the beginning of my journey...
