09 Confession

Back when we arrived back in Paradis Eren as imprisoned since he needed to face the consequences of his past actions. After all he did deserve it.

Sadly, Levi instructed me to check up on Eren and give him his food I was against this idea as I didn't want to come in contact with Eren again. But of course I had to comply and listen to Levi.

As I as slowly walking and entered into the dungeon of some sort I overheard someone saying "tatakae.. tatakae". I continued walking just to notice the person was indeed Eren however the thing which shocked me as his new appearance which id have to admit looked very pleasant. His brunette hair was slicked back and tied up in a man bun ; skin smooth as ever without any flaw on his face. I came to realize he was topless and he had perfectly toned abs.

"Oi, Eren" I proclaimed as I was right infront of his cell. Eren diverted his attention from staring at his reflection from the mirror to then me. I held out his food and knelt down sliding it through that little gap so he could be able to get his food. Whilst doing that I spoke "Don't really understand why you keep on repeating the word fight. I mean you're locked up in a cell right now."

Just right after I stood up and corrected my posture I felt a hand having a firm grip on my collar. Talk about disrespect. I lifted my head to see that it was Eren who was doing that.

"Shit what are you doing" as I gasped for air.

"Tell me how" Eren muttered. Before letting him finish I grabbed his arm and twisted it making him let go and which resulted to me falling down hardly on the ground.

I started rubbing my back to relief the pain. And looked up at Eren "It feels as if you don't care anymore. Ever since that day when you fucking kissed Historias hand you've been acting different AND CHANGED" I said to him.

"I still care about you. You know" within that sheer moment my eyes widened in shock that Eren actually spoke back and confessed that he cared about me. Is he trying to gaslight me or?.

"I love you (Y/N)" my jaw dropped trying to comprehend all of this. Is this reality or some type of dream. I remember the day where I decided to fully abandon all of my romantic feelings for Eren in the past and move on due to his stupid decisions. But now he's saying this?

I stood up and walked towards Eren until I stopped and headed towards the opposite direction to get out of the room and right before I did. I said

"I love you too Eren"

And Eren watched as (Y/N)'s figure slowly faded away till It couldn't be seen.
