07 Filthy

I silently watched as Levi walked up towards Eren to exchange some words with him.
"I cant believe how filthy you are now" he stated. "You look like you just fell in a pile of shit" he continued as he looked down at the brunette boy sitting down avoiding eye contact with Captain Levi.

"Eren..." regarded Levi.
"Captain..." Eren responded without the spark he used to be held in his amber eyes. In a brink moment Levi aggressively kicked Eren multiple times which gave me flashbacks to the old days where him and Jean would occasionally endure harsh beatings from no one other than Levi himself.

Eren collided with the wall and I heard gasps coming from Mikasa and Armin who was right next to me watching this scene slowly unfold right infront of them. Just when Mikasa was going to step in a do something I restrained her from doing so by pulling her back. Eren deserved that beating from all the things he put us through so far. I thought but quickly regretted it soon after.

Another man still had his gun aimed towards Eren whilst standing next to Levi.
"It's been a while Eren" Levi stated... "You're as easy to kick as always. We'll restrain you first. Then we can talk."

"I don't mind." The Titan shifter said

"But everything is according to the letter I sent you"

I still noticed Eren not daring to look at Levi in the eyes. Eren didn't seem like himself. No he was far from himself. He changed. Ever since that day.

"Was that not enough to earn your understanding" Eren explained as he tilted his head a bit up by a cm where he finally held eye contact with Levi.

I watched as the two of them exchanged eye contact. I have to admit it made me feel quite uneasy. The silence was suddenly broken by Levi

"Your face."
"It's the face of pieces of garbage Im sick of seeing in the underground city".

After Levi finished that very sentence I felt a pang in my heart Levi never ever once mentioned about the underground for years besides from the Kenny incident. I took another glance at Eren to comprehend what Levi meant by that comment and then I understood.

"Levi, you're right" I followed up saying as Mikasa and Armin looked towards me. I walked towards Levi till we were shoulder to shoulder.

"Can't believe it's a day where you became one of them filthy pieces of shits I used to see" I retorted.

After I finished my sentence loud gun shots could be heard which startled me.
"Wait what's going on?" I questioned Levi as he didn't seem to hear me because he seemed confused aswell.

Then, I look to see Connie in a frantic state next to the door with a tear flowing down on his face.

"S-Sasha" he quivered

"... she's dead" hearing those words instantly made my heart drop.

In hopes to make sure I'm not paranoid and it's reality I hesitated as I replied "your just joking. r-right Connie?". The fact Connie didn't say anything confirmed that this wasn't any typical joke but it's reality.

I quickly rushed and pushed Connie out of the way as I heard him shouting my name from behind I didn't care Sasha is my best friend. I couldn't risk loosing her now. I shoved the other people who were on the plane whilst I was huffing and panting in desperation hoping that she's okay.

As I reached my final destination I screeched to a halt when I could see both Armin and Mikasa sobbing whilst on the ground. Which laid Sasha's lifeless body covered in blood. In that sheer moment, I dropped to my knees trying everything I can do to possibly revive Sasha.

"Sasha" I yelled desperately.

"SASHAAA!" I screamed as I put my face against the ground whilst tears came gushing out from my eyes. I could hear the ongoing cries echoing around me whilst I continued to sit there helpless.

I felt someone tap my shoulder from behind. It was Connie and he gave me a hug whilst we both started crying together as I hugged him tightly.
