Since that day, I have managed to recover, and my body is back to normal. People still checked up on me occasionally, especially Levi, and me and him managed to grow close again, which indeed made me happy despite me being lectured by him to never do something like that again. He opened up to me and told me he was worried about losing me.

Flashback

"Please never do this to me again (y/n); you are the only family I left," he told me in a soft tone, continuing, "I apologize for not being close with you like we were back then. It will change now, I promise."

And also, Eren visited me as well.

"(y/n), you don't understand how worried I was for you," the titan shifted as his voice cracked. He leaned in for a hug, which I gladly accepted. He continued "you mean so much to me". Right when I heard those words that left his mouth, it softened my heart as I felt comfortable being in his hold Being in his embrace felt good, which eased the pain I was currently in. I inhaled his intoxicating fragrance, which smelled so pleasant.

Present

Today was Historia's ceremony, where she'd officially be announced as the new queen. Everyone was kneeling down infront of Historia Reiss On my right was Levi, and on my left was Eren. After Levi kissed Historia's hand, the petite blonde came towards me and stretched her arms to me, and I grabbed it and kissed it. Then she moved towards Eren, where he did the same. However, I seemed to notice how his eyes widened as if something tragic happened as his mouth opened while he was still frozen.

I nudged Eren by the shoulder and whispered, "Eren, are you okay?" He didn't respond at first, but then he quickly came back into reality and nodded at me with a small grin. But for some reason, it felt as if he was wearing a façade on his face.

Timeskip

The group was all gathered together whilst we all sat and ate together on the lunch table. With Eren beside me, I decided to face Eren's direction in hopes of having a conversation with him, but it seemed like he was in his own world while everyone else was conversing in conversation; he was staring intently at his food. That was until Sasha yanked it from him since it was getting cold and started devouring it right in front of him. Judging by Eren's typical behavior, he would of made a scene and started shouting. However, he allowed it.

Three years later

Eren, day by day, slowly drifted away from me and the others. However, unlike me, the rest haven't seemed to acknowledge that yet, even though it was quite noticeable. I decided to go out of my way to talk to Armin about it.

"Armin, don't you think Eren changed?" I quietly said to him to ensure no one else could hear. "Maybe that's just him growing up," he responded in an attempt to relieve me of my thoughts. But to be honest, after that moment, I stopped caring about Eren and got rid of those romantic feelings I developed for him while in the survey corps since he didn't acknowledge my existence anymore. And because I have self-respect for myself, unlike many others,. Following up with that, during these years, me and Levi found out we were an Ackerman from our past encounter with Kenny, which made me realize me and Mikasa were related. Mikasa apologized to me and stated that her rudeness towards me was because she felt as if I was taking Eren away from her.

Timeskip

Me and the rest of the survey corps were inside the aircraft going to a place called Marley, where Eren apparently left to hide with a new identity, appearance and name, doing whatever God knows what. And of course, we had to go after him and take him back. To be completely honest, I wasn't really prepared to come in sight with him after all of these years I wonder if his appearance changed.

Finally, we made it, and Levi instructed us to go out to "save Eren" yet again since the Maryleans were attacking him. Levi somehow told me it was my job to ensure Eren gets onto the aircraft. Right before I was about to jump off the plane, Jean comes right next to me and whispered in my ear, "stay safe." I have to admit his warm breath landing on my skin made me tingle but enough of that, we have a mission to do. I quickly nodded at him, giving him a little grin, and jumped off the plane.

I was jumping from house to house, killing these Marleyans one by one. I took one quick glance at myself, admiring our new ODM gear and suits we got given, and said, "I look so good in this.". In the moment I heard my bestfriend Sasha yell out to me pointing at Eren. I then shifted my attention from her to Eren and quickly zipped towards him. What the hell happened to him. I wondered as I tried to process the sight of his new appearance.

I finally landed right in-front of him whilst he sat down on the concrete ground. And without wasting no time I grabbed him and told him to "I don't know what on earth you were attempting to do Eren, but if you wanna live hold on" bluntly. He cooperated and grabbed onto my waist and once he did I zipped all the way dodging the bullets which were aimed towards me.

However, there was a surge of even more bullet coming towards us "shit" I muttered to myself as I looked for an area for us to land to avoid being in this cross fire. I decided to land on top of a flat surface on the tall building and I casually dropped Eren on the floor as he grunted. "Be quiet or they'll fucking come here" I whispered to him as we sat down. He stared me for a second and looked away.

And how ironic right infront of me several Maryleans were surrounding us giving us no way to escape. I stood up from where I was sitting "If you don't want to get killed by me I suggest for you to hurry and go away" I said bluntly with no ounce of regret of having to kill at this point it was now normalized since it's a life or death situation. I knew I couldn't waste the gas for my odm gear yet and attempt to go away so I would have to put these hand to hand combat of mine to use.

All the men chuckled as if I was some type of clown one of them with brown hair walked up towards me and said "stop being stupid women, you think you can defeat us it's like 50v1 you brainless bitch". Just when he was going to finish his sentence I kicked him and grabbed his gun and shot his foot as he screamed so loudly out of desperation for help.

His men quickly acted and came running towards me. Without hesitating I fired my gun at the men getting at least 15 of them till the bullets were gone. I jumped up and kicked them on the back of their head and thrown my fists at each man who came my way. As Eren watched from my behind as I took them one by one.

Finally there was one guy left and I quickly grabbed my knife and stabbed them from the behind. After eliminating them I took a deep breath in and then slowly exhaled.
"That was chaotic" I mumbled as I wiped off the remaining blood from my pocket knife.
I looked behind me to see Eren still staring at me probably a bit stunned of my sudden actions.

"Quick staring and get up and let's go" I said to Eren bluntly and reached out to him so he can get inbetween my arms as I used my odm which glided me within the air in hopes to reach the plane on time to prevent any bad situation from happening.
Through my peripheral view I saw Levi and I quickly shouted to him and the others "Everyone I have Eren, now let's get back into the plane" they managed to hear and everyone retreated and went back into the plane including both me and Eren who I quickly let go of once we landed.
