"My Butterfly" (Shinobu x FEM Reader)

Chapter 1

Shinobu's POV:

As all of the hashiras knelt before Master Ubuyashiki, he sat down near the edge of the decking.
"Hello my children, my the weather seems quite nice today." He started. "I wonder if the sky is blue."
"Greetings Master, I'm not trying to be rude and get straight to the point but may I ask, this meeting was called last minute and the crows did not tell us why." Sanemi said, getting straight to the point even when he said he wasn't.
"Ah yes Shinazugawa, I called this pillar meeting today to introduce a new Hashira. She goes by the name Y/N L/N and will be our new lightning pillar, please make her feel welcome. You may come out my child."

When i saw the boots of the new hashira emerging from the depths of the Ubuyashiki mansion, my heart skipped a beat. She was absolutely stunning.
"Hello, my name is Y/N as you all know already, I hope we can get along and all be great friends!"
Oh my, 3 words in and I was already drowning in her sea of beauty. Is this what Nee-San meant by 'Love at first sight'? Her medium length black hair cascaded down her back, a white fringe sitting peacefully at the top. Her turquoise eyes shone like a star. Suddenly, my process of thought was broken as I felt a poke in my shoulder.

"Shinobu, quit staring at her." Kanae scolded. I looked around and noticed all of the pillars looking at me:some with confusion and some with amusement. I blushed in embarrassment.
"My deepest apologies Y/N. I zoned out for a second there." I put on my sincerest smile still with a red hot face.
"It's quite alright. Now, master, where shall I stand?"She continued conversing with Ubuyashiki.
"Of course, you may stand near Kocho, the one that was just staring at you."
I heard the hashira chuckle at this, especially Mitsuri. My face grew hotter as I looked at the floor, attempting to hide my burning cheeks.

"Also, before you are all dismissed, since Y/N's mansion is still in the making by the kakushi, will somebody please offer her residency until the building is complete."
As soon as he said that, Kanae spoke.
"I will take her in Master, the more guests the merrier!"
"That is kind of you Kanae, Y/N, is it alright with you?"
"Of course. After all, I've always wanted to visit the butterfly mansion." The girl replied.
"It is settled then. Meeting dismissed. Thank you all for your attendance."

We all started to make our leave when Mitsuri pulled me aside. She smirked at me and I knew what as about to happen.
"Why were you staring?" She asked.I gulped and answered her.
"I wasn't. I was zoned out."
"Then why did you look like a tomato when you were caught?" Before I could continue, I felt a slight tap on my shoulder.

"Hi, you're Kocho right? I just wanted to ask you since you live in the butterfly mansion and all if you could perhaps show me where it is? I may have forgotten." She laughed slightly and it was the most magnificent thing I had ever heard.
"Uhm y-yeah of course! I will lead the way now if you would like?"
"Perfect." She then winked at me. "I'll be waiting over there for you." My heart grew rapid as heat rushed to my face watching her walk away.
Quickly, I get spun around by Mitsuri. I'm assuming she saw my red face because she squealed and jumped up and down.
"KYAHHH!!! My besties in love!!!!!!" I slapped a hand against her mouth as soon as the last word was said and whispered,

"Do not tell a soul."
