"My Butterfly" (Shinobu x FEM Reader)

Chapter 6

Kanae's POV:

Once I had gotten changed out of my nightwear, I made my way over to Shinobu's room. I knocked twice but there was no answer, so I took it upon myself to open it. I glanced around the room but there was no sign of my sister . How strange. I went to the room next door and knocked. A kakushi on break was in there.
"Hello Kanae-sama, how may I be of service?" She asked.
"Hello there, I was just wondering if you saw my sister anywhere today. I just checked her room and she was not there."
"I'm not totally sure, but last night there was a bang in the lightning pillar's room, so she went to go check it out. I'm not sure she came back out though."
"Thank you, I will go check now." And with that I started walking to Y/N's room.

Not bothering with formalities I opened the door and surprisingly it was unlocked. Peering inside, trying to not make a sound I got all giddy when I saw the bed. Shinobu and Y/N were cuddling, Y/N resting her head on my sister's chest. Closing the door quietly, I called for my crow. About a minute later it arrived. I whispered to it, "Go to the love estate and tell Mitsuri to come over as fast as she can, preferably in the next 15 minutes." It nodded and flew away.

10 minutes later

Resting my head on the wall of the mansion, I soon saw a pink haired woman bouncing over to me.
"You needed me urgently Kanae-san?" She grinned , "Is it about Nobu and her new girlfriend?" I smirked back. "Follow me." With that we made our way down the labyrinthine halls until we reached the lightning pillar's room. I opened the door and sure enough, they were still cuddling in the same position. I pointed to the bed with a finger on my lips, suggesting that she should be quiet. Her jaw dropped at the sight. "Already!?" She whisper-shouted. "Shhh, I heard that there was a bang in this room and then Nobu went to check it out. She never went back to her room." "That is so cute" She giggled.
"Let's wait until later to ask them about it." I said, eventually closing the door.

*Time Skip*

Sitting on the couch with the love pillar, I munched on sakura mochi that she had made. Now I know why she loved it so much. While I was still chewing on my mochi, I heard the door behind us open and a fresh Shinobu and a tired Y/N walk through. I smirked at Mitsuri and asked them as they went to sit on the other couch, "So Shinobu, may I ask, why were you in Y/N's room last night?"
"So you did spy on us." She sighed before continuing, "All I will say is that Y/N asked me to stay after she had a nightmare." Once she finished that sentence , the lightning hashira plopped her head down on her lap and closed her eyes, snuggling into Shinobu. She blushed and smiled gently at her, carefully stroking her hair. *In mind* AHHHH!! SO CUTEE!!

"CAWWW!! KOCHO SHINOBU AND Y/N L/N HEAD SOUTH!! POTENTIAL TWELVE KIZUKI MEMBER TERRORISING TOWN MEMBERS!! CAWWW!!" Shinobu's crow yelled. Both Y/N and my sister groaned but stood up and went to get ready. Stupid crow, ruining my sister's love life; atleast they are on the mission together.
