"My Butterfly" (Shinobu x FEM Reader)

Chapter 4

Y/N's POV:

She lifted her hand up to feel my forehead but I suddenly gripped it, a gentle yet firm grip.
"Sorry Kocho, I'm not sick don't worry." I could feel my face getting hotter. Am I sick?
"Ah look! There's the mansion! Lets go." I changed the subject. While walking, I soon realised what I was doing right now. I have hold of Shinobu's hand whilst heading towards the estate. I shook the hand off, "Sorry, my bad."
"It's ok.." She sounded sad almost. I will ask her about it later.

We reached the doors of the mansion and I noticed her tsuguko, Kanao, helping another girl with black hair strapped into two ponytails at the sides.
"Kanao! Aoi! We have a new guest for the time being. I will be showing her to her room."
"Okay mas- nee san." Ohhhh they were sisters. Cool.

"Come on then, it isn't that far." She poked me again. Does she do this with other hashiras? She started walking ahead, me trailing behind. We walked for about 2 minutes around her huge home until we ended up at a door.
"Here it is!" She stated, opening the door so I could see in. Woah. This room was about the size of my bedroom and my grandmothers back home.
"Wow, thank you!" I smiled at her. She was very kind, along with her sister of course.
"It's no problem, when you have settled in you can ask one of the kakushi to lead you to the lunch hall where dinner will be served." With that she stalked off back in the direction she came from.

I slowly made my way into my room for the time being. It was so pretty! There was a single bed with a nightstand, on it there was a lamp and a box of tissues. The dresser had a mirror on it at the other side of the room. Last time I checked, mirrors were hella expensive in my village. I mean, I wouldn't expect less from the insect and flower pillar. I sat down on my new bed and gazed out of the window. Outside there was the training grounds I'm guessing. Currently in a duel, there was a black haired boy with a reddish tint on the ends and a blue haired...boy? He looks like a girl, but he has his shirt off soo.. Anyways, walking out into the training grounds, Shinobu's sister (Kanao) and the butterfly herself walked out. I didn't realise when we were walking to the estate but her hair is perfect. The black locks faded into a wisteria coloured purple with her hair tied up at the back with a multicoloured hair pin. I bet she would look even better- what? Youre not into girls,Y/N. What're you thinking? I was just going to say she would look pretty with her hair down. Nothing strange at all.

Opening the door and stepping into the hallway, I saw a kakushi walking along.
"Hi- excuse me! Could you show me to the dining room please?" I asked as polite as I could.
"Ah the lightning pillar! Of course! Just this way."
He started in the same direction he was heading to in the first place. I followed him through what felt like endless tunnels until we reached the room. In there, there was lots of patients, the boys from earlier and some of the pillars.

Damn this place is popular. I took a glance around to look for Shinobu since I didn't know anybody else, I found her with Mitsuri again. The feeling was back. What is this? I walked over to the queue and ordered my food. Once I had the tray I made my way to the table the other pillars were sitting on.
"Hi uhm, may I sit here?" I questioned a red haired man with yellow tips, probably emulating fire.
"Of course! Anything for a fellow hashira! Call me Rengoku, by the way!" He basically shouted. It startled me then I smiled. "Thank you Rengoku."
