"My Butterfly" (Shinobu x FEM Reader)

Chapter 8

Shinobu's POV:

My eyes slowly opened, revealing a dark room. When I tried to move my hand, I realised it was chained to the wall. What the fuck is going on? One minute I'm battling with Y/N and the next I'm being kidnapped by a demon! I grunted as I tried to move the rest of my limbs. They were severely aching and I had a pounding headache. "Oh my, you're awake already my little butterfly~" A creepy voice came from the hallway. I squinted but my eyesight was still too blurry. "Don't try to see, you'll be going to sleep for a little more anyway~" I shuddered as I felt the hot breath against my neck. He chuckled softly, "Oh how I'm going to enjoy you~"

Y/N's POV:

I was still crying silently, thinking about how it's my fault she was taken. Who know what they will do to her! They could abuse her or even kill her. I was so scared for Shinobu. I will find you. I promise.

Time Skip: 2 weeks

2 weeks and there was still no sign of Shinobu. Every pillar was worried sick: even Giyu. That is understandable though, she was basically the only one who bothered to speak to him. Every day a hashira is sent out to look for her. Her mansion is getting slower paced; the workers obviously affected by her disappearance.

Kanae was the most affected though, everybody could tell she was getting no sleep between her patrols by the dark eyebags surrounding her eyes. Every day she would come into the Hashira meeting looking like a zombie, until she was cradled in Sanemi's arms.

From the moment I got here: I could tell they had a special relationship. Even if it was platonic or romantic, they were always there for each other. I miss Shinobu. I only knew her for 2 days but she had a big impact on me. Ever since the first night I stayed here I started getting better dreams; often because of her presence. When I had a nightmare, she would come in and sleep beside me. I mean, for the two days we were together for. I just hope she is ok.

Shinobu's POV:

"Hey hey Shinobu-chan?" Kazuko poked at my bare stomach. I have been in this hell hole for..2 weeks? I can't tell. I would do anything to get out of here. I would rather die than have to stand here and let him touch me again. It was getting tiring, my smile faded into nothingness every second I was in here. Will I ever smile again? It's not like I will get out unless someone lets me.

"Oi, answer me you bitch." He slapped me. "Y-yeah." I replied quietly. "Since you're never going to get out of here, why don't I tell you why I did this. It will be good to get this off my chest." He sighed exasperatingly. "O-ok." I stuttered. Ever since the first time, I have not been able to form sentences mainly because of the shock, the shock that came from the situation I was in 10 minutes after I was with Y/N.

"Hah. At first, I just wanted the demon slayer corps crumble.. you might be wondering why a human like me is helping hell's children. Well, I made a deal with uppermoon 2 I think it was." He made a thinking face. "He said, if I provided him with meals, then I would get hefty pay. Generously, he offered me 1 of his meals every month to do my own ..stuff to." He stopped pacing and lifted a hand to my bruised cheek. "As our time will be over in 2 weeks my little butterfly, how about we go out to a nice dinner place. To celebrate our.. one month anniversary."

Am I going to be let outside? Surely there's a catch. "However, you are not allowed to leave my side. You hear me?" His gentle touch soon turned into him strangling me. "Ye-yes!! I will not try to leave!" I coughed out. "Good. Well then, see you later darling~ Ive some business to attend to." With that he released my neck and exited the dark room. This was my chance. I just have to hope that Y/N or another hashira will be patrolling.
