Chapter 2

Y/N's POV:

As soon as I caught her staring at me, I decided that she was the cutest thing ever. She turned bright red when scolded by her sister, and soon apologised for it but honestly I was suprised she was staring at me of all people. I was offered residency at the Butterfly Estate, meaning I could spend more time with her, maybe even become close friends.

Once the meeting was over, she was pulled aside by her friend. I think her name was Mitsuri? Suddenly, I felt this feeling I never had before. I'm not sure what it was, but I was somewhat jealous that I was not the one speaking to her. Oh well,it's probably nothing. It may just be an off day?
I strode over to her and tapped her lightly on the shoulder and started speaking.

"Hey, Kocho right? I just wanted to ask since you live at the Butterfly Mansion and all if you would show me the way there. I may have forgotten." I chuckled slightly out of embarrassment. God I was stupid.
"Uhm y-yeah of course. I could show you now if you would like?"She stuttered out almost instantly. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mitsuri smirking a little bit.
"Perfect!" I winked. Oh my lord why did I do that.
"I will be over there waiting for when you are done." I walked away before she could get a word in. As I sped away, I heard Mitsuri squeal. I wonder what she was excited about.

When I got to the gate, I leant my head back and looked at the sky. Maybe I should send a message to my brother and grandmother about where I am at the moment, they don't like when I do not come home without messaging them first. The reason for that is my father, former demon slayer, once went out for a mission but never returned. My family were worried sick, until we had a knock at our door. We were devastated to hear that he was murdered by uppermoon 6, Gyutaro. Ever since that day, I have hated demons with all of my heart. Still reminiscing, I didn't notice the small presence behind me.
"Hello? L/N?" She asked.
"Ah yes sorry, I was zoned out." I replied smiling gently, "Shall we get going?"
"Of course."
Before she could step away, I grabbed her hand and kissed the top of it slightly. "After you."

Kanae's POV:

I was watching my sister with the new hashira at the gate with Mitsuri.
"They look cute together!" Rengoku burst out, not loud enough for them to hear though. I jumped slightly but then agreed with him.
"They do, we should get them toge-"
I cut myself off and gasped. Y/N had grabbed my sister's hand and placed a soft kiss the top of it.
I looked at Mitsuri, we both synchronised shocked looks at her boldness.
"Ara ara~ my sister may actually have found a lover."
"Very happy for her indeed, they shall make a great couple!" Rengoku suddenly shouted again, still not loud enough for the other pillars to hear.
I laughed. "We should make a plan to secure their relationship!!" Mitsuri said passionately.
"I hear you Mitsuri, spill!!"
