( standing out side the school gates )
"Hey dad can you come pick me up please" I spoke down the phone.
"Sure hunny where are you" he said back.
"Out side the school gates" i Said as if it would have been obvious.
"Okay I'll be there in 10 sweetheart" he spoke ending the call.
"Sweat heart ay"i heard a thick Aussie accent behind me.
I turned around to see ashton standing there.
"Yeah he's an embarrassment" I laughed.
"He seems friendly, was it your dad" he said noisily.
"No it was my boyfriend stanly" I joked.
I could see anger flash up in his eyes.
"I'm joking it was my dad" I laughed slapping my thigh.
"You know that wasn't that amusing" he half smiled.
"Well your smiling aren't you" I pointed out.
"No I'm not" he said turning his smile back into a frown.
"Turn that frown upside down" I giggled pulling at his cheeks.
"Never" he giggled...wait he GIGGLED.
"Awh little ash giggled" I teased.
"No I didnt" he said pushing my arm.
"You so did beside it's the first time I've seen you smile at me" I laughed
"You've got a beautiful laugh" he smiled stroking a stray hair behind my ear.
"Thanks you've got a great giggle" I said watching Ashton's mood swing.
"It was a laugh not a giggle" he said firmly.
*honk honk*
"What ever I'm gonna go now see Ya tomorrow" I smiled walking up to my dads car.
Should I go back and hug him as in as friends cause we ain't anything more or should I just go.
Fuck it...
"Bye ash" in nuzzled into his chest.
"Bye" he chocked wrapping his muscly arms around my waist.
As I walked back to the car I saw my dad shove some paper into the side pocket of the car.
(On the way back home)
"What was that price of paper?" I questioned.
"Oh nothing sugar plum" my dad smiled.
"So who was that boy" my dad asked.
"Just one of my new friends I spoke calmly.
"He seems friendly just remember if anything happens stay safe" he laughed.
"Dad" I whined covering my face with my hands.
"We aren't going to Do anything...he's just a friend." I said truthfully.
"That what they all say" he whispered/mumbled whilst pulling the car into the front drive.
"I heard that by the way dad" I said clearly.
I swung the car door and ran straight up the stairs the stairs locking the door behind me. Flopping into my bed and sighing.
"Hun what would you like for dinner" I heard my dad shout.
"I'm not that hungry dad maybe just a salad" I shouted back.
"Of course what a wonderful idea" he said confidently.
What a weirdo.
Suddenly my phone vibrated. I picked it up to see...

"Hey how are you?"

"Who is this??"
(Unknown number)
"It's Ashton ;)"

"Ahhh okay whats with the winky face ;)"

"Like I said your going to be my girlfriend soon so I'll be able to protect you in life and he can have a break"

Wow I can't believe my dad he's so immature and just annoying. And although what ashton said was sweet me and him will never be it just wasn't meant to be...oh look I'm a poet and I didn't even know it ;). Wait I'm not even sure if what I just thought made any sense to anyone...i'll just shut up.
