Gabriel took off down the hallway, making his way out of the building before the news could reach the end of the crowd. He felt the hot tears running down his face, he didn't care. He started running in the direction of his house. He had ran full speed the whole 7 blocks home, somehow making it home before the winchesters.
"Why Sam?....why did you tell?....I trusted you...you said I could trust you...."
Gabriel hated Sam. Or at least he wanted too. But he couldn't. He was his best friend. Or at least he had been. Gabriel heard his neighbors car down the street. He quickly opened the door and rushed inside, slamming the door as the car pulled into their driveway. Gabriel sunk to the floor, knowing that no one was home, and not caring either way. He buried his face in his hands and sobbed. He was still crying when Castiel arrived home. He had heard Gabriel crying from outside the door. Castiel gently opened the door, not wanting to hit his brother with it. He sat down beside him, pulling the crying boy into his lap. He had been in the front of the crowd and heard everything that had happened. He rubbed his brothers back, shushing him.
"It's alright Gabe. It's alright."
Gabriel clung to his brother the same way he had as a toddler.
"It's not alright. Everyone knows now. You know what will happen now cas."
Castiel did know what would happen. Gabriel would be an outcast. He would be bullied and taunted. Some people would try to make him leave town, and some people would try to hurt him. Castiel held him tighter.
"I will not let anyone touch you. You will be okay. I promise."
Castiel didn't notice that his brother had fallen asleep. He stood, carrying him up to his room. Once he closed the door, Castiel let himself feel pissed. He didn't care what Sam had gone through. Nothing Gave him a pass for what he did. He quietly made his way downstairs and outside, marching over to the winchesters house and banging on the door. He took a step back for it to open. Dean was on the other side looking very shocked to see him.
"What the fuck is wrong with sam!?"
Castiel practically roared at Dean. Dean stepped back in shock. Clearly he had not heard what happened, but Dean was not going to let anyone talk about Sam, not even his best friend.
"What do you mean?"
His voice was dangerously low, but Castiel didn't care. He pushed his way into the house, glaring as he got a glimpse of sam running up the stairs. Castiel looked back at Dean. He decided that both of Sam's brothers needed to hear what he was about to say.
"Go get Michael. "
Dean glared at Castiel, peaking his head put the back door and calling Michael inside. When they came back to the kitchen, Dean had clearly told Michael what was happening.
"Castiel. What is going on?"
Castiel repeated his question, quieter this time, but still furious.
"What the hell is wrong with sam?"
Michael stared at the boy, dean replied.
"What are you talking about?"
"Why is he being a dick to Gabriel?"
Dean clenched his fist.
"Watch it, Castiel. You have no idea what he has been through. "
"I don't care what he went through. It doesn't excuse what he did to Gabe!"
Michael stepped between the boys, clearly seeing that the friends would come to blows over their brothers. He was the one to reply.
"What did he do Castiel?"
