Atlas

If happiness were to be a person, that would be me right now.

I felt like I was dreaming and if it really was a dream then I never wanted to wake up

Lana was now my woman, officially.

In the past, I had let myself imagine what it would be like to be with her. When I discovered that I didn't just view her as someone I wanted to help but as someone I wanted to get to know, to get closer to... I tried to deny the attraction but now I no longer had to do that. I no longer had to imagine because it was now my reality.

Lana is mine now and nothing was going to change that.

"Atlas, where exactly are you taking me?" Her sweet voice said from beside me where she sat at the passenger's seat.

As agreed we met at the lobby and I dismissed David telling him that I would do the driving.

"Somewhere I know you are going to love sweetheart" I said teasingly. Taking a quick glance at her, I saw the deep blush I predicted would be right there on her cheeks.

One thing I have taken a deep liking to was seeing her blush, knowing that it was because of me.

"Can you stop doing that Atlas?" She said with a tiny groan.

"Doing what?" I asked, playing innocent.

"You know what! You have been teasing me nonstop since we became a couple" she complaining, very cutely might I add.

"That's because you look so cute when you blush" I defended.

Her blush became even deeper.

"Whatever" she said with a huff and I couldn't help but chuckle at how cute she was being.

This beautiful woman sitting beside me was now my girlfriend.

It still felt surreal to me.

Like a beautiful dream

After twenty minutes of driving, we finally got where I wanted to take her

"Folsmor place!" She said excitedly, looking at me.

I smiled back at her feeling proud that I did something right.

Lana may not know this but I was very observant of her.

She fidgets when she gets nervous about something, she bites her lips and unconsciously keeps shaking her legs when she's concentrating on something, her eyes always had this twinkle to it whenever she saw something she liked and one of those things was Chinese food.

Ever since I noticed that, I always tried picking a Chinese restaurant whenever we were out on business trips because I knew she absolutely loved their food, however we had never dined alone in a Chinese restaurant before and I wanted to change that.

Plus I heard her talk to Justin in passing that there was a new Chinese place she wanted to try and that they could try it for the first time together.

Yea.. like I was going to let that happen.

"I've been wanting to come to this place since it opened, I just never got the time. How did you know?" she asked with a bright smile.

"I notice everything about you and I know you love Chinese food a lot. So..." I explained telling her half of the truth.

"Thank you Atlas," she said, still smiling excitedly at me.

Another of the many reasons I liked her, she got excited even about the littlest things.
