CHASING THE MOON

CHAPTER 1

A/N: All the chapters is unedited. I just want you guys to know if you're reading this again after I uploaded this back and read some unfamiliar words or scene.

Artemis

"Ma, alis nako" at humalik sa pisnge ni mama kasi pupunta na akong school. It's  first day of school and I need to be early at the new university where I transfered in, well not that I'm not an early bird in my old school, but I am just excited guys. I am here at my car and it's good thing that it's not that traffic because I hate it. Btw, I'm  Artemis Serenity Callahan, second year college and my course is civil engineering.

People call me innocent not because of my face but to everything. My parents home schooled me when I was in elementary and I really beg to them to enroll me to a school where I can make friends, have classmates and etc when I was going to my 7th grade. Well yeah back to what I said about me being innocent in everything outside my comfort zone, my parents was the at fault to this. My parents want to secure me since am the only child or should I say a miracle baby in our family  since my mom cannot bear another child because of her condition, they put in a situation where I am home schooled, no friends and cannot go out without bodyguards or yayas around me though I am not complaining to it because all they want is my safety. I think being innocent is not a big deal, so yeah.

Time skip

I am here at Yale University since I am transferee here I don't know where to go because guys this university is hellaa big. I guess I will just ask somebody since I am already in a hallway.
"Ahm, excuse me can I ask something?" I stated, gosh it's so embarrassing I am not good at this but yeah go with the flow, my brain stated HAHA.

" yeah sure, what is it ba?" the girl stated, she pretty.

"can I ask where is the engineering building? I'm  sorry its my first time, traferee to be exact." I stated.

"ohhhh, that's okay I've been in that situation before HAHAHA. So all engineering students are there in that building. That building is CEA, that is tha building of Engineering and Architecture. You know what, we just go there together since I am an archi student." this girl stated.

Okay she's friendly naman. I nodded at her as a indirect yes to her.

We start walking in the hallway and while I am admiring the view of the University, this girl started talking.

" I am Gail Fernandez btw, you what's your name? " Gail stated and asked me.

" Oh sorry I forgot to tell you, but I am Artemis Callahan." I stated and smiled at her.

" wow, your name suits you well and girl you're gorgeous."

Time skip

We are here at the CEA building and to tell you honestly, there are many students at this building compare to others.
" So, Artemis why did you transfer here in YU to think that you're already in your second year? " Gail asked.

" mhmm, my parents wanted me to transfer here because it's more safe daw kesa sa old univ ko, gusto kasi nila na I am in safe surroundings." I stated, well that the truth.

" ayyyy grave ka gurl, marunong ka pala mag tagalog pinahirapan mopa Kong pag English Haa." Gail suddenly stated, I was shock a little.

I giggle " oo naman, pilipino rin Ako noh."

" kasi namn Artemis ehh, buti nlang talaga hindi Ako nag nose bleed." Gail stated while laughing." btw, anong room mo? " she asked.

" ahmm, room 205. " sagot ko sa kanya.
"ito, room 205 nato dito kana sa taas pa kase room ko, kita nlang tayo later. Ay ano fb mo add kita para I cha-chat nlang kita mamaya." ani ni Gail. I gave my fb name to her and she add me and I accepted it immediately.

"Ahm, thank you Gail, see you later." I stated and smiled.
"gege GG." she said and I got confused for a sec and asked her.

"Ahm, what's GG?" I asked shyly. She frowned, "hindi mo alam kung ano ang GG?" umiling Ako sa kanya. Tumawa sya " it means gotta go." she said. I nodded and she already run because she's already late na daw.

I am here inside the room ang we are just waiting for the professor. Ang ingay nga nila eh medjo na out of place Ako." Hoy, nandito na si missss." one of my classmate says. Our professor arrive and to tell you she's so beautiful that all I did was stare at her. Our professor roam her eyes inside our classroom until her eyes lands at me and she winks and smirk. I did blink for how many times if I saw it right but yeah nevermind nlang.

"Good morning everyone, I am Astra Riley Yale your subject teacher for Autocad this first sem. Your can call me Miss Astra or Miss Yale. So introduce yourself to the class now. " she strongly stated. I kinda felt nervous by here presence ha. After several minutes, it's my turn to introduce.

" Hi, I am Artemis Serenity Callahan, I'm 20 years old and I am a transferee from West University. I hope we get along, thank you. " I introduced and smiled at them.

Miss Astra started teaching us about Autocad. She discuss the parts of Autocad where she present the look of Autocad in class." Did you guys get it?" the whole agree to her." okay, so let's have a quiz then. " she says that made everyone shock including me as well. It's just first of school and quiz agad huhu.

Time skip

Well the quiz is not that difficult naman. " Miss Callahan, can you help me with my things?" she suddenly called and ask me. I nodded and get her things at her table. I follow her from the back and admiring her image, I can say she's almost perfect.

"just put that in my table right there." she stated as we arrived in her office. I put her things and I can feel her staring at me.

" done na po, can I go out na po?" I asked shyly.

" Yes you can, thankyou for your help baby." she says while smirking and suddenly cares and kiss my cheeks. I look at her confused about what she did.

"why did you kiss me po and called me baby, I am not a baby po, I am an adult already ?" I asked confusingly.

" ohh, that part of my thankyou and yes you're my baby." she smirking while saying it. "but I'm not a baby Anymore. And kissing are just a things that married couple do, yet you kiss my cheeks. " I stated while pouting at her. Miss Astra stares at me and smiled.

"ohhh, my baby is innocent in that matter ha. Well kissing on the cheeks is quite normal baby."

"so it's okay to let people kiss my cheeks po?" I asked confusingly because the only person who kisses my cheeks are my parents.

" No! Don't let anyone kisses your cheeks, forehead or lips their are mine baby." Miss Astra strongly stated

" but I am not yours miss." I say." You are mine baby, mhmm. So go now to your next class." she says and pat my head then kiss my forehead this time. All I did was nod at her while my brows is almost aline from confusion.

I am at the hallway going back to my classroom. Maybe miss Astra did those things early because it's normal from her but she says I am hers. Ano daw nalilito na Ako since kailan Ako naging kanya eh kanina lang kami nagkakilala. Hala, baka may sapi si miss noh? Baka nga...
