CHAPTER 23

The silence was so loud as we got stuck in the traffic. I am enjoying myself by looking outside the window just to ease these awkwardness.

" Ahmm, how are you?" she asked suddenly making me face her. I smiled at her and answers.

" good." I said and she just nodded.

" do...do you believed what I tell you about my reason?" she asked with hesitation in her voice. I look at her straight in the eyes.

" I...i don't know." I said in low tone as I lower my head and play with my hands.

We become silent again after I said that. The cars are already moving and good thing there's no traffic along our way. I was still looking outside the window when I heard a music. I look at her and saw that she turn on the radio of her car.

The song plays until we arrived in the house. She park her car and I immediately unbuckle the seat belt. I look at her to say thank you, but I was shock when she hug me.

" I'm sorry." she said as her face tuck in my neck. She repeatedly saying sorry to me and I can't help but to hug her back.

" I will not getting tired of saying sorry to you, serenity. I know that I hurt you big time and I felt guilty to it. I can't tell you sooner about it because I was afraid that you will remembered what you and my twin promised before." Miss astra said and I can feel the sincerity of her voice. I decided to cup her face and made her look at me.

" I know, miss. You're forgiven already. " I softly said and smiled at her. I decided to forgive her because it wasn't her since the beginning, it was her twin all along. She smiled and hug me again, much tighter this time.

" oh gosh, I missed you so much baby." she happily said and I felt that she kiss me on my forehead.

" I missed you to, riri. " I said and gosh I missed her calling me baby.

" I missed that." she said as soon as she let go from hugging me. I just smiled at her while looking at our tangled hands. She touch my chin using her other hand and lift my head. She's looking at me directly in the eyes.

" will you still let me continue my courtship on you, baby?" she asked and I almost forget about it. I look at her for a sec before I nodded at her then I saw her smiles widely like she won a big prize.

" but...promise me that you won't hide anything from me?" I asked and she immediately nodded.

" I promised. " she said while she lift her hand. I nodded and hug her again.

" I will go inside the house na po." I said then break the hug. She nodded and cares my head then kiss my forehead.

" goodnight, baby. See you tomorrow at school." she said.

" goodnight, riri. See you tomorrow." then get out from her car. She rolled down the window then wave at me. I smiled then wave back. She beeps three times before she maneuver her car.

I was smiling while heading towards our porch. As soon as I got in inside the house, I saw my papa in the living room.

" hi papa." I said and hug him. He look at me and nodded. I was about to go upstairs when he asked me that made me stunned.

" whose with you, princess?" he asked. I close my eyes for  a sec, composing myself before I face him.

" A friend papa." I said confidently but deep inside I am nervous already.
