Artemis

The scenery in front of me is so relaxing. As I watch the trees dancing from the wind makes me feel at ease. I am here in the place where miss Alice always visits when she misses her husband. This spot was a perfect spot to relax from all the negative memories or thoughts that was constantly running through your mind.

Today should be a happy Sunday, but my dreams ruined it. I just dreamed of riri having someone in her life right now, they're happy nor she's happy even without me. Even though my parents said to me before about riri having someone, I still don't believe it until I see it through my eyes. I trust riri and the only thing I am worried about is that I left her without saying anything.

She's still my girlfriend....

" you're relaxed now?" miss Alice asked the moment I enter the house, I nodded at her then hug her. In the past three years living with her, I already considered her as a family because she also considered me as one.

" everything will be fine and she will find you if she really loves you, art." Miss Alice said comforting me while rubbing my back softly. I nodded at her as I pout cause I can't help but to get tear up.

" Thank you." I sincerely said them smile at her, she nodded then pinch my cheeks.

" How many bread miss? " I asked the customer whose staring at me. Seconds after she's still staring, so I tap my tong on the glass to wake her up.

" O-oh sorry, three breads to be exact." she said and I nodded. I place the bread inside the bag and give it to her. She handed me the money and I immediately give her change.

" thank you for buying." I said giving her a warm smile. She nodded then smile at me.

I was about to sat down on my seat when came back.

" ahm hey." she said while rubbing her nape.

" yeah." I said while looking at her.

" w-what's your name? I mean this the first time I saw you." she asked and I giggle cause she got Strummer.

" I am Artemis and yeah I am new here." I said and she nodded then handed me her hand.

" I'm Sav nice to meat you." she said then shake my hand. I nodded at her while staring and I kinda notice that she's still holding my hand.

" ahm, Sav my hand." I said as I point out our hands.

Her eyes widen then immediately let go of my hand then smile at me, like she's embarrassed.

" sorry about that. Ahm I got to go, see next time." she said.

" see you." I said then wave at her. I look at her as she riding her bike until she dissappear from my sight.

I sigh as I sat down, thinking about having only two customers today even though it's still kinda early. I didn't notice that I am already spacing out thinking about other things.

Going home....

I really want to go back in the Philippines, I miss my life there, my friends maxie and galie and of course riri. It's been 5 years and i am sure that Max and Gail already graduated in college. I'm wandering if what's going on into their life right now, does they miss me?How about my riri?

My life just literally turned up side down by a mistakes that I committed. First was disobeying my parents about having a relationship with a woman, then second was humiliating our family name by rejecting an engagement in front of so powerful business personnel.

If I didn't reject that engagement, would I be happy? Would my parents treat me again just like how they treat me before? That day, rejecting the engagement was really in my mind because I know riri will be mad at me. Yes, I was thinking about riri all the time even in that certain event.
