CHAPTER 2

Artemis

Gosh I am late from school, this would the first time that happen in my entire life. So ate my breakfast and run through my car. It's traffic pa naman. While I'm busy ranting inside my car, my friend from class called me. It's max, "girl, where na u? Miss Yale will be here in a minute." max asked. "I'll be their I'm a minute, it's jus I'm stuck in a traffic max." I says. "okay, drive safely babush."

I am running through sa hallway and I've finally reach my room. " Good morning Miss Astra, sorry I was late." I said while heavily panting. Miss Astra look at me from head to foot and gesture me to sit down.

The class went well since all we did was doing plate work in out laptops. To be honest, autocad is really one of my favorite subjects in this school in civil engineering. After class, max and I is heading to architecture hallway to fetch my bestie. Yes you read it right my bestie, no other than the great Gail fernandez. We reach her classroom saw annoying her classmates as usually.

Time skip

Were here now at the cafeteria eating out lunch and we're probably going to stand by here because our next class is late at 3pm to 6pm. Good thing that max and I have the class schedule as gail.

"guysss, I want to sleep like 8 hours or more straight." gail suddenly said.

" HAHAHA kawawa nman this girl oyy pero kung maka complain ka jan parang tuloy tuloy ang tulog naming ah." max rebut while rolling her eye. This two is really a disaster when their together.

" at least Ako may jowa kahit wlang tulog eh ikaw meron ba ha? Wlaa."

" okay lang walang jowa at least nakakatulog padin. Unlike you who looks like a panda na HAHAHAHAHA."

" hooy ano suntukan nalang oh ano papalag ka ha."
" sige ano akala mo uurungan kita ano like. " okay this is getting into my nerves na talaga.

" the two of you can you stop na, people are already watching us." I said because I am really shy now cause people watching them already like they are fighting but their not.

" HAHAHAHAHAHA okie poww. " the two of them laughing while saying it. All I did was to smile from their kalokohan.

" BTW change topic, why ba nalate ka kani girl?" max asked and " oh to the em to the gee, na late ka earlier? Gail asked also. I glared at them because their making fun of my conyo accent again. They just laugh because of teasing me.

" well I advanced study for today's subject's topic for advanced learning and gosh hindi ko nadinig my alarm ringing because I was dead asleep." I stated while pouting to them.

" you're so sipag talaga my frenny. Why don't you try to enter a relationship?" Gail asked while her brows is doing the up and down thingy.

" ay bet you want me to reto you to someone I know, what do you think Gail? " ani ni max

" ay bet max, so g ka ba bestie?" Gail asked me. I'm comfuse by the way.

" ahmm, what's reto? Also don't know anything about relationships thingy." I innocently asked them. The two of them just stared at me jokingly.

" oo nga pala, you're innocent with that matter hehe. Hoy max ikaw may sabi about sa reto reto nayan ipaliwanag mo, Bala ka ja. " Gail stated while slapping max arm. So I stared at max hoping for an answer.

" Reto is anoo.... Ahmm anoo... Wag nangalang erase na lang yang reto nayan hindi ko alam ko anong English non no. " max stated while scratching her head, while Gail is laughing really hard. I can't help but to laugh also cause Gail's laugh is so addictive.

While we're having fun, my phone suddenly vibrate a sign that someone is texting me. I pick up and read in silence, my brows furrowed while reading the text from unregistered number and I think I have an idea whose this.

" Hi baby, I miss can you come here at my office, pretty please?" from unregistered number or should I say from miss astra.

"where did to get my number miss astra?" I reply then back to what I'm eating. "ohh, you really know it's me ha. Well I won't tell you btw where are u right now?" she text back and asked.

" here at the cafeteria with max and Gail. Why? I thought you want me to go to your office." I asked. " I change my mind baby and beside I'm hungry. I will be there in a sec baby by for now. " I didn't reply na since she coming na daw.

" wait is that... Miss Yale? " max asked while looking at my back." yeah max, I wonder why she's here and also she's coming towards our table. " Gail stated. As soon as she arrived at our table, she pat my head and spoke " hi miss fernandez and miss lim, can I share a table with you guys and sit beside miss callahan?" Miss astra asked. The two girls just nod their and miss astra smilingly sit beside me

" hi baby, did you missed me cause I miss you a lot" she asked while holding my hand underneath the table. Max and Gail shock as they heard what miss astra called me.

" BABY?" suddenly stated in sync. Miss astra laughs at them as she nodded. "yes, I called her baby because that's my endearment for my serenity. Why is there any problem with that fernandez and lim?" miss astra asked in a strict tone. Sabay na umiling ang dalawa habang naka ngiwi dahil sa tono nang boses ni miss. I giggle at their status right now.

" why are you here miss astra? "I asked while she's busy touching my hands.

" baby, I told you that I missed you right. " she said while pouting. I couldn't imagine that the strict and terror professor is pouting in front of me.

" yeah yeah, diba I told not to call me baby na. I already told you that last week from the first day of school po. " I stated but in a low tone. She smiled and whispers as my ears.

" I told you also that day that you're mine and you're my baby, mhmm." I pout to what she says, she just smiled widely, " so cutie my baby" she says while my cheeks.

"can you come with me in my office?" she suddenly asked.

"why po?"

"I will just give you something". I nodded as a yes. She smiled then face my friends.

"Fernandez and lim, is it okay if I kidnap callahan from you guys?" miss astra asked then in a strict tone. " oo nman miss kidnappin mo na yan" sabay nlang sabi. "okay, thanks girls. Go get foods you like it's on me." parang nag ningning ang mata ng dalawa dahil sa offer ni miss. " sge po miss." sabay namn nlang sabi. Talagang pinagpalit Ako sa pag kain, I felt betrayed.

"let's go now baby." she said and drag me out from cafet while holding my hand. People are watching as leave because of our tangle hand, I felt embarrassed while this professor seems unbothered by it.
