CHAPTER 9

Artemis

I didn't stop from running even though I know she's behind my back. I can't feel this kind of feelings. I cannot disobey my parents, especially my papa.

" SERENITY" miss astra yells as she runs behind me.

I continue to run until my feet brings me to place where still part of the University that hasn't students around and I stop cause I feel like  I'm about to collapse due to exhaustion.

" Serenity, please. Talk to me." miss astra said then I face her as my tears started to fall. I shake my head.

" please, serenity. I know you love me. I know that you're already fallen in love with me, baby. I know it but you're still denying it to yourself. " miss astra said in frustration. I shake my head again. Convincing myself that I am not in love with her.

" no miss, I am not in love with you. I cannot be in love with a person whose gender is the same as mine. My parents will be disappointed about it, especially my papa." I said while crying.

" so, no miss. I am not in love with you. You're just lying." I said convincing myself through it.

" no, baby. I can feel it, you love me. "
" baby, come here let's talk calmly, okay. You're just afraid because of your parents. Come her, baby." miss astra said calmly as she held my hand and I cannot take back my hand cause I feel so weak.

As she noticed that I didn't do any opposite reaction by her holding my hands, she immediately hug me tightly and I cannot help but to hug her back as I cry louder on her neck.

She cares my head and back as she whispered ' it's okay, I'm here' repeatedly to make me calm.

After several minutes, I can feel that I am a bit calm so I decided to face her.

" riri, this is wrong. I think this feeling is nothing." I said as I look into her eyes. Miss astra shakes her head indicating that she's not agreeing to my statement.

" baby, I know you have feelings for me. You're just saying that cause you didn't felt in love before. It's your first time to feel that kind of feelings toward a person." she said smiling while caressing my cheeks.

" riri, this is wrong."

" baby, being in love is never been wrong in first place. "

" I know but I'm afraid to accept this kind of feelings. I'm afraid of the consequences. " I said while looking at her worriedly.

" what are you afraid of, serenity?" she asked determinately. I can see so much emotions in riri's eyes.

" I'm afraid to what my parents do if they find out about it. My papa warned me already about having a relationship or feelings towards a person who has the same gender as mine. " I said still looking directly into her eyes.

" if that happens, then will fight. I can risk everything for you, baby. " she said that made me speechless. She can risk everything for me. As she noticed that I don't have any words to speak up then she pulls be again for a hug as I hug her back.

Time skip

We are at her car because she decided to go to her penthouse and stay there to talk deeply about earlier. I text my mama and papa about where I am and I asked them to tell manong to not go to the univ cause my friend will drop me off later at the house.

" were here."

She goes out first then go to my side and open the door for me. I smiled at her and says thank you. She holds my hand as walk through the elevator. As soon as we got in to her penthouse, she guided me to sit on the couch as she made her way to her kitchen. After a sec, miss astra comes back with a two glass of juice. She handed me the other glass as she sits beside.

" ahmm, riri." I said to get her attention because she's just looking at me silently.

"hmm?"

" can we...take things slow. This kind of feelings is new to me. I still want to figured it out by myself about my feelings for you." I said honestly and looking down to the glass of juice that was place on my thighs.

" okay, baby. Let's take it all things between us slow. " then lift my head and kissed my forehead.

" if you already figured out your true feelings towards me, just let me know and I will court you immediately, okay?" miss astra said then I nodded and smiles.

" okay, riri. " she smiled and grab my arm to make me lean on her chest. Good thing the juice didn't drop. I leaned at her chest while we talk some random things.

" baby, do you want to watch a movie? "riri asked suddenly that made me face her at my side cause her chin is in my shoulder.

" what movie, riri?" i asked her.

" it's upto you, baby. "she said and made think what kind of a movie I want.

" how about jumanji, riri. " I said as I unlean at her chest and face my body at her.

" if that's what my baby wants then will watch it. " she said that made me smiled.

We watch jumanji as we eat our snacks that she prepared. Our position made me feel relax and safe. My head is lean at her shoulder while I seated at the couch then my legs is on her legs also. We enjoyed watching the movie after that I decided to go home since its almost 8 pm.

Were now outside of my house. I face her and smiled.

"I'll go now, riri. Thank you for the snacks and being with me watching the movie even though we didn't finish the season 2." i said as I pouted at her. She laughed a little bit then cares my head and pinch my cheeks.

" you're so cute, baby. Next time will watch the season 2. For now, you need to go home and also there's class tomorrow." she said then I nodded.

" bye po, see you tomorrow." I said then wave at her.

" bye, baby. " then kiss my cheeks. I nodded then get out of her car. I watch her car as it moves then that's when I decided to get inside the house. I saw my papa watching tv at the living room.

" hi papa, I'm home na po." I said as I kiss his cheeks.

" oh, hi princess. I didn't notice your here already." he said then cares my head. I look around to find mama.

" you're looking for me, honey?" someone asked behind me. As I faced my back, I saw my mama holding a cup of coffee.

" hi mama." I said smiling then kiss her cheeks.

" hi honey, how's your day?"

" good mama." I said as I sit on the couch. My mama nodded as she gave the other cup of coffee to my papa. We had a little chit chat together then after a minute I decided to go upstairs cause I feel sleepy already.

" mama, papa akyat napo Ako sa room. I'm a little sleepy napo and meron akong class tomorrow." I said as I yawn.

" okay, honey. Goodnight."

"goodnight ma, pa." I said then go upstairs.

As I enter my room, I do all my night routine after that I laid myself on my bed as I decided to close my eyes, my phone suddenly vibrate. I accept the call even though I am sleepy.

" hello." I said in sleepy voice then I yawn again.

" hi, baby. You're sleeping na?" oh its miss astra. I nodded as if she can see me.

" not yet pa po, I was about to close my eyes but you called." I said while my eyes are close then pouted.

" oh, sorry baby. I just want to say goodnight."

" okay po, goodnight. " I said cause I am really sleepy na.

" okay, goodnight and sweet dreams baby. " I just hummed then I heard her giggled and end the call. I put my phone next to me then smiled as i dozed off.
