Gumball looked down at the now dead Rocky, the stuffing pouring onto the floor. He especially liked that look of horror on the puppet's face, which was pretty much the only part of him that wasn't stabbed five thousand times. He couldn't really understand why, but he brushed it off. It didn't matter. Did it?

He looked up, noticing Miss Simian watching, with an angry, yet surprised expression on her face.

"Watterson have you lost your mind?! Put that knife down right now!" She screeched, coming closer at first. However, she then gasped, pausing as realization struck her. "Where's Nigel?! Is he dead?!"

With a grin, Gumball began to walk towards her, raising up the blade in his hand. "Not yet.."

He had a creepy tone in his voice as he said the words. Why not scare his teacher a bit? She's been a jerk too over the years. Nobody would even miss her one bit, would they?

Before he could get closer however, Miss Simian quickly left much to his disappointment. The feeling deep inside despised that.

Suddenly, Gumball heard a faint voice coming from down the hall, which sounded full of worry, fright even. For a moment, he paused, confused by such, though his grin widened soon after.

"Oh that must be Darwin! Man, I can't wait to tell him what happened!" He said to himself with delight, excited at the thought. The feline then proceeded to follow where the voice was coming from, slightly bouncing in his steps.

The students were still where they were earlier, having stayed together in fear of getting killed. They were all crouched down on the floor, hoping that everything would be okay in the end. It felt like a death sentence if they dared to exit the corridor.

"Has your brother always been like this?.." Teri asked, facing towards Anais.

The young bunny was hugging her knees, as she raised an eyebrow at the question. "How am I supposed to know? I'm only four. But.. I haven't really seen this happen before.."

She couldn't deny that she was scared at the moment just as everyone else was. Though, she trusted Darwin. He was a little dumb just like his brother, sure, but she had a feeling he was right, he could talk it out with the cat.

"Pfft.. And this was the guy you decided to fall in love with." Leslie commented, while looking at Penny. He had been holding a few bits of laughter.

The fairy however was upset by this comment, her form shifting in places as she spoke. "Don't say that Leslie! I know Gumball would never hurt the people he loves! That's what Darwin said before he left, right?!"

"Guys calm down! Don't fight over this he might hear you!" Carmen scolded, immediately quieting the two. She gave a look of fear, as if the slightest whisper could echo through the whole school.

"Either way.. Darwin left a literal hour ago. We don't know if he's alive or not." She added. "He could have been wrong and turned into sushi."

"We hope for the best then." Anais looked up, slight positivity filling her voice. "There's no point in arguing over what's going to happen."

"And if what happens is terrible?" Masami crossed her arms, her expression that of annoyance.

The young bunny sighed. "Then we get a plan B."

Darwin was still sitting by the vending machine, watching the darkness, for worry of anything happening. After a few more seconds passed, he sighed in defeat. "It's no use.. There's nothing here.."

"Hi Darwin!"

The goldfish flinched, startled by the sudden voice. "G-Gumball?"

On cue, the feline came out from the dark part of the hallway, with a smile on his face. Darwin watched him with uncertainty, and worry. It was a matter of time before his plan to talk it out had to go into effect.
