All seemed quiet in the office, not a single word spoken.

Principal Brown was at his desk, seemingly waiting for something silently. A stern look was on his face. He had been keeping his eyes on the cat.

Gumball meanwhile was sitting in the seat across from him, not attempting to do anything besides occasional glances around the room, his gaze mostly fixed onto the floor. He didn't want to see the principal looking at him like that. If anything, he was still shaken up about earlier.

After a few more minutes of silence, the office door creaked open, as footsteps entered the room. Principal Brown took a slow sip of his coffee, as he motioned the visitor to sit down in the seat next to the feline.

The realization soon dawned on Gumball, panic filling him as he saw Nicole sit beside him. She shared no acknowledgement of his presence just yet, which really only made him feel worse.

"You wanted to speak, Principal Brown?"

The principal could tell Nicole was annoyed, telling by her expression, the way she was tapping her foot as if attempting to let out bits of anger slowly. He could only guess she was expecting another mishap, with another expensive bill as always. "To reassure you, it's not a bill this time."

Her body relaxed at the sentence, yet was still rather stiff. She knew there was still something to be talked about. The thought of having to pay off another debt would've infuriated her.

"But."

Gumball froze, knowing what was to be talked about. He couldn't bear the thought of his mother's reaction to it, let alone having to hear it described back to him. What would it have looked like to anyone else?

"Mrs. Watterson, we hate to inform you, but our security cameras caught footage of your son attacking our school janitor in one of the bathrooms, to put it lightly."

"Wait, what?!" Nicole immediately turned towards the younger cat, angered by such news. She had been called here many times before, often for cases of school destruction, but never had she been here for something like this.

"If you would like proof, we have it here." Principal Brown put up a small TV onto his desk, facing the two, as he began to play back the video. The entire scene had been recorded, even catching audio.

Gumball watched, seeing himself on screen crying and shouting on his knees for the voice to stop. He didn't really know what to feel. Many thoughts and emotions were racing through his head, trying to comprehend it. Rocky soon appeared on screen, looking confused by what was going on. In reality, nothing was there. The cat took his eyes away once everything else that happened began to play.

As the video came to a close, an uncomfortable silence filled the room.

Minutes going by, Principal Brown finally began to speak. "..Because of this behavior.. We'll have to suspend him for a few days. Just until things cool off a little. Especially with what last week-"

Gumball quickly cut him off before he could finish that. The last thing he wanted was his mother having to find out about worse things he's done. "Principal Brown I'm sorry I didn't-"

The principal cut him off in return, slightly annoyed, but showing what looked like sympathy encased in worry. "I'm sorry Watterson, but rules are rules. You know we don't tolerate this kind of behavior from students. Now goodbye, we'll see you next week."

"But-"

"Gumball come on, we're leaving." Nicole stood up, still fairly angry. However, she couldn't deny the concern she felt, especially after watching the video. Something was definitely wrong.
