Season 2. Chapter 8: Second and Third Floor. Cavendish

The fall was long and confusing. This one was odd, it felt like being squeezed through a silicon tube, but not slowing down because of that.

A bright light blinded them, making all their eyes close tightly due to the beam of light coming from seemingly nowhere.

When they opened them, they were falling directly to the ground.

They arrived to the second floor.

The sight was both breathtaking and terrifying. There were multiple floating islands with multiple sizes, the small ones had tents and trees, like a camp. The larger ones had cities, with the biggest ones having castles and even larger cities surrounding them.

Everything was like it had been ripped off a fantasy book, with magical creatures flying here and there, some even being used by... Witches and Wizards?

The cities were lively, with merchants selling their merch, people buying and going about their day.

But right now, it wasn't time to be mesmerized, because they were falling.

Everyone was screaming at the feeling of falling to their deaths, but some acted quicker than others.

Rachel and Amanda grabbed their wands, and used them to summon soft and bouncy cushions on the ground for them to fall. They ended up in a small village.

Lotte and Akko were lucky, and fell on a lake in a solitary island floating around.

Tyler and Diana fell on the entrance to one of the big cities, which was bustling with activity. Diana softened her fall with a wind spell, Tyler just made his body more durable and slammed onto the ground.

Akko- She quickly resurfaced, and took a deep breath- "We're here!"

Lotte- She also resurfaced, looking around- "We're here..."

Meanwhile, Amanda and Rachel brushed the dirt off themselves, standing up while glancing at the small village, giving each other knowing glances before walking towards it.

The islands were constantly moving slowly, without crashing with each other, like a very sensible harmony.

Tyler-"What the... Is this the second floor?"

Diana- "Seems like it, I read this place is the air floor, ruled by Vayu and Aeolus"

Tyler-"So, we just need to find those fuckers and tell them to send us back"

Diana-"That is true"

They looked behind them at the vast extend of nothingness that expanded beneath the floating islands, and spotted a small one with just a small lake, where Akko and Lotte were.

Tyler-"Oh look, there's Lotte"

Diana-"And Akko"

Lotte and Akko waved at them from the island, standing at the edge of the lake while drying themselves up.

Diana lifted her wand, and muttered.

Diana-"Pleis Capama"

Both Akko and Lotte were encapsulated inside magical, floating orbs, which were brought to Diana's direction before popping.

Akko-"Thanks Diana!"

Lotte-"So... Is this it? The second floor?"

Diana-"Affirmative"

Akko-"Woah! What's that big city! I never knew dead people would be decorators"

Tyler-"So, decorators are immortal?"

Akko-"Nope, but I didn't expected them to be here"

Lotte-"Let's go see it! It's something straight out a fantasy book!"
